I'll elaborate though. Drove one of the new M4's and the best way to describe it is a fraud. While the ride feels firm and sporty when you drive normally, push it and it lurches about and feels unpleasent and top heavy. This is despite an unpainted carbon fibre roof - although if they were so crazy about weight saving why are there light up M badges all over the interior?

Don't get me wrong, it's quick in a straight line. Overall though it's a poser car for amateurs to think they're driving hard when really they'll never get anywhere near.

I drove one the year they came out, was underpowered, and bought a 370Z. But for 2017 they got new engines, new intakes, new exhausts, new tune, basically fattened up the powerband, plus final drive bumped from 4.1 to 4.3. They are pretty quick, the 2017s. Still not as fast as my 135i by any stretch but so much more fun.

Not mine but same model as mine. Got it with 100k 2 years later its at 180k miles haven't had any issues. Just regular maint and tires. Only option it has is ac haha oh and i upgraded the stock deck to a pioneer. Great little car!
