King Crimson. All of their early work for sure. Even Islands, which for some reason is highly disliked by KC fans. I've always thought it was really good, albeit not my favorite. It's really got a great mood and atmosphere to it. The song Sailors has a kind of eerie quality to it.

Look at classical. It's as technical as it gets, and it properly conveys emotion way more than any Nirvana or White Stripes can. Half the White Stripes's lyrics are complete gibberish anyways so I don't get why you'd bring them up as an example for "music that makes you feel". Nirvana was an ok band but they didn't age well and no one remembers more than five of their songs because most of their stuff was too similar.

I bought the Two of them an ps4 and rockband or whatever and grandma has yet to express interest in it. I can't set it up because I'm sure as Fuck aren't going to get caught in the "I bought a present for you but it's really for me" trap. So this Christmas I'm fucking setting up the drum kit and going to let a 4 year old have a good Christmas.

Is there downloadable content for rockband4? Some of the songs on the box of the disk would be tolerable if we could download a better mix.

I'm thinking about seeing if anyone has figured out the format the songs are stored in or just letting her record her own shit using cakewalk/GarageBand or whatever the fuck is out there now. Can make a fauxMac or dedicated PC just for her. Her fucking mother accidentally destroys tablets we give her by various dumbass reasons. I remove the browsers for obvious reasons and fill it with music she's tagged on the car or on her grandmas phone, but no fucking videos cause YouTube is full of shit that 4 yo don't need to see.

There's barely any variation in most Nirvana songs other than the big ones that stand out. Same thing with White Stripes, especially their early albums.
