Here is the one I want
Birshot out of a Judge is useless, it has a range of about 7 yards and will barely penetrate paper because it spreads so much
Source: former Judge owner
At the very least if you really want one load buckshot in it
I carry a Bersa Thunder .380. How's the 9?
>Birshot out of a Judge is useless, it has a range of about 7 yards and will barely penetrate paper because it spreads so much
r u newfag? or have been away long time?
/b/ is 75% tough guy gunfags with no idea how to use their firearms...only to make them feel tough
This is my current pistol. Yes I know its a shitty HiPoint. Was all I could afford at the time.
I will be upgrading in December
I had a bond pistol chambered in 45/410. The judge is similar in that it's roughly the same size and shoots 410. Is hot at a rattlesnake and it didn't take him out. I shot it about 4 times and he finally died. I can shoot. Prior military, have my ccw and all that junk. I think bond arms and judges are novelty guns with no real self defense use. Get a good 9 mil and stack it with gold dots. Problem solved.
For comparison here is my Kahr PM9 next to my other carry, Glock 19.
Taurus semi autos are garbage, I'd stay away from them
Their revolvers are passable to good for the money
I had a 605 .357 snubbie for a while and it was a great little gun, but recoil was very strong for full .357 loads and very loud
Okay so it's not the greatest carry piece, and it usually stays in the car for that reason, but it's an A+ pistol. I also have an LC9 which is an outstanding carry piece in terms of size but I don't like it other than that.
I'm from England, and I don't recognize ANY of the swords you've been posting.
They seem short, stubby, blunt and ineffectual.
Im not op, but thats nice. I carry the 9mm version.
>inb4 pussy round
Bought it at gander mountain, they didnt have the .40 and the .45 was only in development at the time. I want to upgrade to the .45 though.
A Glock 40 is a great problem solver though...
With modern ammo, 9 .40 and .45 all perform adequately
9 millimeter hollow point is just as effective as any other round if it's well-placed
Empty the magazine Center Mass and I guarantee the guys going down
I'm a truck driver and wants while I'll carry my 380 I've got hollow points loaded in that I'd rather have that than nothing
I loved my revolver man it hurt me to sell it. Pic related is what I got now. Lorcin .380.
>not sure if i would trust such a small round for personal protection
9mm isn't the most common handgun cartridge in the world because handgun owners love the dank meme, dumbass. It's because 9mm is a good time tested cartridge. This is more than adequate for your personal protection.
>Especially in the cities i go through
Unless the niggers in these cities are mutants with dermal plating, they'll go down just like anywhere else so this was a dumb thing to say.
...no shit? Ive never seen that before. I guess ill hold onto the 9mm for a while longer then.
Trucker /b/ro here too. Boss says no guns in the trucks is official company policy. Unofficially its
>do what you have to do in order to protect yourself abd the truck.
I take my 9mm with me. Loaded with hornady hollow points. Ive got tge small mag in it, and forgot the large one at home this week. But that still means ive got 7+1 to fuck someones day up.
I manage for a cable TV company and I can confirm. Company policy is absolutely no guns in the van but we all know the areas our guys can find themselves in and we turn a blind eye if you do carry.
I do, yes, unless someone is being obvious and and stupid thereby putting me in a bad position, but that has never happened yet. But yeah I've seen the piece under the seat or whatever, and say nothing.
Most modern handguns +p+ is safe. People who carry hot ammo don't normally go to the range and out thousands of round of +p or +p+ through their guns. Normally just enough to feel comfortable carrying it and stay in practice
S&W M&P 9mm Shield
extended mag while at home
compact mag while out and about
I'm considering a Ruger sr9c with the in-trigger safety
Nice. Michigan here. The only 2 states that i go to that dont honor my permit are NY and IL.
Very cool. I keep hearing about more and more companies allowing it. I think i need to start looking.
Also remember if you're in a sleeper truck and this is a little ambiguous but they can only search what you can reach which is usually just in the cab the sleeper is considered your domicile and therefore they need a search warrant to search it
Well it's best if you don't tell your boss. I prefer not to know myself. But there's an excellent chance that your boss will think like I do (and like you do) and realize that your safety is justifiably more important to you than company policy. Company policy is no guns because the company doesn't want to be sued if you have to shoot somebody. But if one of my installers shoots someone in self defense, then the company can say "hey don't look at us, we have a no weapons policy that he agreed to" or whatever. But most importantly in that scenario, my installer was able to protect himself.
Ive done that, but been kinda nervous about it. I need to look up the laws. I heard IL allows for transportation of firearms (unloaded and locked away) with an out of state permit. But that atate is so ass backwards that im sure there is a restriction or exclusion on the books for semis.
I understand where you're coming from but I look at it with his many murders are in Chicago every weekend I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it I'll deal with the consequences afterward but I'll be damned if I'm going to be a victim
The big boss (read as his name is on my door) carrys a snub nose .38
Hes the one who gave me the unofficial company policy. He caught me at the yard one weekend and i had it on me. My ahirt had ridden up a little and it was easily identifiable.
i typically carry my springfield subcompact 9mm or my s&w 360 jframe 38...
but about 1.5 hours ago i left the gunshop as a proud owner of a glock 29 gen 4...havent fired it yet but im pretty excited.
i got it mainly as my hiking gun cuz i come across bear tracks and bear shit all the time.
i have the same gun. perhaps youre aware but the frame kinda wears away where the slide lock/release fits into it.
so when the slide locks back and you insert a new mag try to not use to slide lock to chamber the next round.,..use the slingshot method.
my slide baaaaaarely holds back anymore...setting it down will make it slam forward.
Awesome! I didn't know Bruce fucking Lee was still alive
So what are you gonna do when 3 or 4 Tyrones/Abduls try to rape you? Whip out your small tactical bottle of lube and let it happen? Oh right, guess you should have just blee your rape-whistle and called the polizie right?
Reading these posts and holy shit Americans need to carry weapons on certain areas.
I've walked through the 'darkest' parts of Paris, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, Oslo, Berlin, Vienna, Prague, etc. and never once felt I needed a gun to protect myself.
I have to carry to work because where I work is right next door to a huge government housing area full of welfare nigs and "gangster" mexis and they break into people's vehicles on a very regular basis. Not to mention the near constant stream of police and ambulances in an out of there.
YES, Little chicago has had 500+ murders this year already. The nigglets have 0 parental guidance and the parents have the emotional maturity of an 11 year old so they leave guns just lying around for little Daquan to get his hands on and raise him with violence and aggression. Then he goes out on the streets, kills someone and the parents win the fucking lottery crying saying he was a gud boi and din du nuffin and that this is because whites owned slaves hundreds of years ago.
The funny thing is only 1.5% of whites back in the day owned slaves
The first slave owner in America was black
And it was blacks in Africa that were sending the blacks over here as slaves
But of course that's irrelevant to the cause
