>>685290669 I got mine cut yesterday actually. It was for medical reasons (phismosis) Everything is going fine so far, although night time erections are very uncomfortable, and the head of my penis is so sensitive when it rubs against my underwear. I have to soak my bandages tomorrow and remove them.
>>685292832 Go to the doctor, get steroid creme and start stretching it. Do that for a few months, if it still doesn't work, which it will for like 90% of people, get it cut. I had to get it cut too, avoid it if you can, the operation recovery is quite painful and it's pretty insensitive now. I can smash the head of my dick on a wall and not feel shit.
>>685292763 I live in Australia. If you make a thread at 2pm my time, I'd be happy to post photographs for you once the dressing is removed. My surgeon told me to wait at least 4 weeks before masturbation/sexual intercourse (I must use a condom). After 6 weeks, I'm free to have sex without a condom.
After the surgery I was given painkillers, antibiotics and a solution to clean my penis with once the bandages are removed.
It was very bad. I've never been able to come during sex, and it was really starting to affect me psychologically, it made me feel bad about myself, and it made me disinterested in sex.
I'm very excited to try out my penis once it heals. Hopefully all my issues will be solved and I can carry on with a happy life.
I'd highly recommend consulting a doctor about your phismosis, I tried stretching my foreskin, but that didn't work. I understand that it's scary, but you've got to do what's good for your health, you know?
>>685293236 >I live in Australia. If you make a thread at 2pm my time, I'd be happy to post photographs for you once the dressing is removed. I might just take you up on that. What time is it now in Australia? Midnight? Assuming you're on the East coast.
What's the rate of circumcision like in Australia now? I heard it used to be pretty common like in the U.S. but it's been steadily in decline
>>685293979 Find a doctor who will give you a really loose circumcision, so only the tight phimotic skin is removed, and you're still left with a lot of slack. That way it'll still at least partially cover the glans when you're soft, just like on guys who naturally have a short foreskin, and offer you protection from desensitisation. Later on you could even stretch the skin out over a few months to regain full coverage if you wanted.
>>685294259 >Errr, the underside of the head is still somewhat sensitive Like where the frenulum was?
>Not much scarring, aesthetically looks fine. I've always been pretty big down there and actually I think unleashing the head made it get a little bigger (about 8 inches). Willing to share a pic? I've heard people say that before, that the head "flares out" after they get cut, so I'm curious.
>>685293767 Took about a month before I could wank after the surgery, and there were serious complications with mine too, so could be even less than that.
>>685293979 It's not so bad, at least now I can actually have sex with it, before I couldn't (cus obviously putting it in would try to force the foreskin back). Plus, no harm in trying the steroid creme, it works for a lot of people (it basically thins the skin so it makes stretching easier and more likely to succeed).
Also, NOTE TO PARENTS READING, teach your kids to fold back the skin if they are uncut. For cleaning, but also as they get into teen years and it grows just to do it, this will prevent the problem. I was raised by a single mum so obviously there was no fucking way she was meant to know to do that shit, not her fault, but I do wish there was more education on it for parents.
I live in QLD. It just became midnight recently. Time is currently. 12:07 AM. I study at university in Brisbane.
Virtually everyone I know is uncut, and I would remain uncircumcised also if my penis wasn't initially dysfunctional. I've confided to a few friends about the operation, and they've been cool about it. But it's mostly just a personal affair, my own business sort of thing.
>>685293967 I could retract my foreskin when I was flaccid to clean it. When I was erect the skin would get stuck if it slid back behind my head. This made intercourse very awkward.
>>685293967 mine was. I had it cut when i was 3 or 5 years old. I wish my mother knew it could be stretched. She took me to the doctor and the next week i was in surgery. Left a nasty bit of scaring what im considering doind some self surgery for.
>>685294576 Can't really take a pic, at my bfs and it might be hard to explain lol. Just taking a pic of my dick for the internet. But yeah, the foreskin was tight and kept it constrained, so when it was gone I guess naturally it just went a little bigger. Looks a lot like the one in the pic from >>685294457
>>685294816 >at my bfs and it might be hard to explain lol. Just taking a pic of my dick for the internet. I'm pretty sure that taking photos of your dick for the Internet is a regular pastime for most gay guys, haha.
On that subject though, having been both uncut and cut, does it affect at all your preference in partners? and what's your bf's opinion on your situation?
Had a tight frenulum that ripped twice, once during jerking it and once during sex. After that got it cut at 18 about. Lol the next day I went to college orientation which sucked. Worth it in the end I guess. 23 now
>>685295266 You wanna be careful getting it done on the NHS. Those doctors usually just want you in and out as quickly as possible, and will circumcise you according to however they like doing the procedure. If you actually want to discuss how much skin you want removed, and where you want the scar placed, then you're better off going private, or you're liable to end up with a dick like OP's.
Yeah like I said, there really wasn't much I could do. It sucks, but at the same time, I'm 18, I want to enjoy my sex life stress free. It seems like a relatively small price to pay, but it certainly is objectively outrageous that the government offers nothing.
I booked a consultation which was free of charge and we discussed the risks of the procedure, the type of circumcision, the method, the reason, etc. Everything. It made me feel quite comfortable and confident. It was good.
My surgeon was about 50 with lots of experience. Very calm, collected and professional sort of guy.
Yesterday I went in to get cut, sat in the waiting room for about 15 minutes feeling quite nervous. Finally he takes me into a room, and has me lay down on a bed. He instructs me to remove my underwear/pants to knee level (First time a man has ever seen my penis, very weird) but it felt perfectly normal after about a minute. Next he placed a plastic sheet over my genitals with a hole for my penis to come out of. He sterilized the area. Next he injected me with a lengthy needle of anesthetic into the base of my penis, down into my pubic bone. It felt very very strange, and also it was psychologically just pretty intense having a needle go into your penis. He injected me a few more times, and then applied a topical spray onto the head of my penis to reduce sensitivity. We had a conversation (and talked casually during the entire procedure) until I couldn't feel anything. Next he grabbed my foreskin with forceps, and began cutting the skin off. This took about 15 minutes. He also used some sort of machine to cauterize veins in my penis I believe to reduce bleeding. After the foreskin was removed, he stitched my penis up. It felt very bizzare to feel the pushing and pulling of the string as it was threaded. Finally I was bandaged up. Before he bandaged it he encouraged me to look at it. It looked very good, (and is the only time I've seen it as it's been covered ever since until tomorrow).
I should clarify: The sheet obstructed my view, the only reason I knew what was happening was because he talked me through the procedure. I felt absolutely nothing other than the initial administering of the local anesthetic.
>>685293015 >I had to get it cut too ... and it's pretty insensitive now. I can smash the head of my dick on a wall and not feel shit. >>685294259 >the underside of the head is still sensitive >>685297489 >he gets frustrated sometimes with how long it can take me to cum Have you tried getting a vibrator and using it on that sensitive spot below the head? It can be really effective. You want something strong with a deep rumbly vibration. I'd recommend the We-Vibe Tango as it's compact and convenient, yet powerful. You could also try a massage wand like the Doxy, which is a bit bulky but more versatile.
Too lazy to reply to those posts, but consider the following. I had mild phimosis when I was a teenager, I could barely pull it back when the dick was erect, but I started stretching each time in shower(checked stretching instructions), and after few weeks, my dick was normal, and still is. I'm 21 now.
Don't get your dick cut if it's not severe, stretching helps alot.
>>685294693 Ouch. That was a bad doctor. Phimosis can't properly be diagnosed at that age because the foreskin isn't supposed to retract then. It's glued to the head of the penis and doesn't begin to separate until after age 5. :(
>>685300001 You can get it done that way, but whereas most circumcisions are performed under local anaesthetic at a clinic, if you want a general anaesthetic then it'll have to be done at a hospital with an anaesthesiologist present, and it'll cost much more.
I'm uncut, but I keep my foreskin kept retracted nearly all of the time. It's lost most of the uncomfortable oversensitivity that it originally had, and I actually quite enjoy the sensation of the head gently grazing against the soft fabric of my underwear.
I even prefer jerking off by rubbing the head directly, but I can't stop the skin from doing its own thing during sex.
I'm considering getting cut, but still have a slight hesitation just knowing that if I do it's permanent.
I guess I'm in the minority, but I like the idea of an exposed head.
>>685297951 >>685299006 But I'm a pussy fag and scared as fack what is the chance i stretch it and not get it cut ...was it easy ? Fast ? You knew it was working ? Also any link you used and its not fakedoc.org would help calm me the fuck down ... Thx.
>>685301393 That's awesome to hear, gives me lots of faith. :) Do you know how long it takes before my dick stops feeling like it's being rubbed against a cheese grater? Also what's it like taking the bandages off, not too bad?
When does it feel 'normal' again, because after I take the bandages off it's basically finished. Am I just waiting for the stitches to finish dissolving?
Be careful taking off the bandages, I don't know what happened to me but mine got stuck and it hurt like fuck, I fainted while taking them off lol. I got some kind of infection, but it should be very rare.
Masturbation is great still, just a bit messier to clean up since the load used to gather in the foreskin kindof, where it was easy to wipe off, now it just goes everywhere, sometimes it sprays pretty far also.
Sex is much more enjoyable (Also had phimosis). I'm more secure about my dick and the girls that have handled it say that it's much nicer to work with and better looking than normal ones (in sweden its rare with circs). Other than that I don't really know, blowjobs feel great, handjobs feel great, altough i dont cum from them (I didnt before either dont worry). Blowjbos actually feel way better now, when my girl licks around my glans etc its fucking amazing.
I'll just tell you to give it time. It felt like YEARS the first two weeks for me, but now I look back at it and laugh. Don't wank off like a retard too early and dont have sex too early.
See it as a monk or zen-experience, avoid wanking off for like a month for optimal results. Also your first wank after circ will be amazing, might just make it even better by not wanking for long.
Oh also, lube can feel quite nice on your dick but it's not neccesary.
>>685309168 Yeah I know right? I've spent quite a bit of time thinking about all the drugs/hookers/cool shit I could buy with 1.5K. Instead I had to throw a wad of cash at some 50 year old guy to scalpel my dick. Feelsbadman.jpeg
>>685309782 It's not actually scar tissue, but yeah, basically. It's more of a plaque-like growth on the foreskin (in men), can spread to the frenulum and glans. Topical steroids can treat it effectively, but didn't in my case.
