You're born, you take shit. You get out in the world, you take more shit. You climb a little higher, you take less shit. Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere and you've forgotten what shit even looks like. Welcome to the layer cake son.
Name a film better then this one
Protip: you can't
I saw Pulp Fiction when it came out on VHS. I haven't seen it since then. The whole thing just seemed like the director was masturbating to himself while filming it, without considering the audience or trying way too hard to impress it.
it's fucking dogshit
the movie is so bad i was offended
In fact, I believe that it's the worst movie I've ever seen
don't waste your 3 hours on it.
I watched it because I read comments on imdb saying that it is "similar to Mr. Nobody" but it is infinitely worse than Mr. Nobody.
The popcorn you're eating has been pissed in. Film at 11.
genuinely not baiting, i didn't like pulp fiction at all
i've never enjoyed anything tarantino has done though, and it's not a contrarian thing/4chan /tv/ meme, i thought this way before i ever read a single comment or review about any of his movies
SPACE JAM 2 CONFIRMED 20 YEARS AFTER ORIGINAL O BABY
not that poster, but I personally enjoyed the '74 movie
Didn't like the "love" story elements, but fuck me the ufo sequences are fucking bananas for a movie almost 40 years old. 40 fucking years. great movie.
op my fav movie
Fucking love this movie. Redford is a badass and the late James Gandolfini is superb, well worth a watch imo.
Your mother sucks cocks in hell.
Or, in TV version, your mother sews socks that smell.
good one, actually the one i prefer
What should I watch tonight. I rented The Score but haven't decided if I'm gonna watch it tonight.
Not quite god tier but pretty solid!
....how bout no
Decided to watch this movie a few days ago.
These are actual god-tier.
Tony, I'm scared. Remember what Mr. Hallorann said: It's just like pictures in a book, it isn't real.
actually never been on reddit
but nice try
now post god tier films
I remember when this came out.
As I can recall this was the first movie of it's kind that didn't give a fuck.
First time I watched it I was scared out of my mind. I couldn't even sleep for days.. now it looks like shit, but back then oh boyy..
this movie, and the ones in the same genre are fantastic to watch ! Especially when high
finally something I didn't knew already
Le Samourai, L'Armee Des Ombres, and Le Circle Rouge.
I was faster :P
But, yeah, amazing movie
How has no one mentioned Shawshank Redemption yet?
Jack Lemmon was fucking amazing in this film
Fucking assholes. How many of you retards have posted movies and nobody mentioned the GOAT?
You motherfuckers are embarrassing. I have to come in here and post this one too. The beach landing scene alone warrants this here.
Pic related is unironically my favorite movie. I thought it was really clever throughout and one of the only real films-for-all-audiences. The memes confuse me because if you're going to build a sort of meta-character on top of an existing one, you shouldn't do it on top of such a fleshed-out basis but someone like Spiderus from sunny-patch kids, who's character is weak enough or is obscure enough to be completely and permanently usurped. Then again, I heard that the memes were largely inspired by the cash-cow second half of the franchise which I never saw. Seriously, fuck that noise.
On the other hand, I've hated all the movies I've seen that try to be deep or artistic because I tend to see through the mystique too easily. I didn't particularly like 2001 or Pulp Fiction for that reason.
Am I alone in my plebeian tastes, anons?
Here is a actual god tier film
Fuck yes this is a great movie. Finally a post-apocalyptic survival film done CORRECTLY. This subject matter is ripe for a bunch of films to do it right....... but very few directors/writers get it right. The Road is one of the few.
yeah, the monty phyton crew is just amazing
deleted scenes from pic related
Best film of all time.
Best director of all time.
What? Was it my dislike of 2001 and PF that turned you off? You buttbefuddled because I realize that the creators muddled the films with random shit so that plebs would talk about how deep they are? Because they were both pretty much that just that. In fact that'd make a good film synopsis for Pulp fiction. There were definitely interesting parts in 2001, but not enough to bump it from good to some kind of object-d'art, given it' deficits. At least Space Odyssey's creators acknowledge that what I perceive to be a deficit was their goal, so I can't entirely fault them for it. Also a lot of the sci-fi gadgets were interesting and HAL gave me the feels.
I wish we could debate this, but this board has no spoilers so I'll let it slide.
Also, anyone else find the entirety of pic related fucking hilarious? (it's What's Eating Gilbert Grape, if you can't tell)
