See this in Hollywood today. how the fuck is everyone rich but I'm poor? How do I make money? I've tried and tried. I have a stupid college degree and I've gotten nowhere in life I'm tired of being a poor Fag! I'm sure I'll get smart comments but any helpful advice is really appreciated. Thank you
No man is Equal, to me financial freedom is a whisper of mystery hence I live in only a single motto: "Irregardless of how poverty, Prosperity our life is, Filial Piety and wisdom is all I ask to fulfill"
Do what you love and you will eventually earn a shit ton of money for doing it. Don't listen to that other fag who married some girl in med school who won't start making actual good money until she's in her mid 30's. College is a good investment but nothing beats actual hard work over sitting in a class or waiting half of your life start earning decent money
>>684976877 There is no shortcut, but even with no useful education you can go pretty far if you're willing to take more difficult jobs. You'll never get anywhere working retail, grocery stores, office admin jobs, etc. Even if you get to the management level you won't even be making $20 an hour.
Do you have debt? If not, you can move to wherever you want. Throw away or give away basically everything you currently own - it will just hold you back and limit your opportunities.
Get a job doing something a little more dangerous than normal. Work in an oilfield, a mine, a quarry, etc. Work as a lineman for a power company, or start apprenticing in a trade like welding, layout, etc. Work in the lumber industry, fishing industry - wherever you get a job, don't take anything under $25 an hour to start, and bank as much of your money as humanly possible.
Don't pick up expensive hobbies or needs. Don't get fast food. Don't buy yourself toys.
Within a few years if you're banking 10% of $25 an hour you'll have enough to buy a small home and then you bank even more and move up from there.
Best case - hard work in a dangerous job for 10 years and you will have enough to start making money off of your money instead of working for the rest of your life.
>>684976877 >Falling for the muh education&school meme Get out, meet people, work few years on an oil rig, contractor for US in Middle East, deal some shit while there then invest in third world corrupted countries. Millionaire in 6 years.
>>684977136 Politics is right. I'm very good at telling people what they want to hear and conning them into believing me I've catfish like 1 million fucking people politics is right I'm just going to going to the Democratic office lie my ass off and start from there. Thanks
>>684977779 In terms of Interest rates? How does the Fed doing so far there? Heard rumors that Janet Yellen Will raise for this year but what will 0.50% do so far? Mine is 3.2% and wont even beat Inflation...
>>684977046 Well you're going to be a doctor anyway by yourself so you'll never be hurting for money and for money and you're in a profession that really helps people and saves lives I'm actually shocked you married a woman for money when you become a doctor yourself it sounds like you kind of a slimeball
>>684977779 You definitely won't be making millions this way. House and property payments alone will keep you treading water. Most success stories are major business startups after multiple failures, innovated creations that find the right demographic and explode, stock analysis and trading, and drugs...with drugs being the most likely potential route to the top for your Joe Everyman but with nearly incomparable risk and consequences. Not to mention some people just aren't hustlers. But generally if you can't hustle drugs you won't be able to hustle business clients enough to get anywhere anyway. Drugs sell themselves, can't sell a drug then you sure as hell won't be able to sell a risky investment that will pay off in 5 years
>>684978421 Are you talking about illegal or legal drugs like making vitamins? Illegal drugs you get arrested her shot and murdered. They got el Chapo for gods sake they'll get me they got John Gotti for gods sakes they'll get me
>>684978564 Yeah it's the rich gym equinox no big secret totally not lying here. I live in LA now I've been trying to be an actor writer entertainment for 5+ years nothings happened I feel totally fucking like it's too late and I'm completely embarrassed by my life and failure and of course I keep it on site because you can't let people know because no one gives a shit anyway
>>684976877 Most modestly rich people own things that make them money. Like businesses. Build a business in a field you love and work hard making it great and you will be fine. Life is too short to work at a job you don't give a shit about for money you will burn through. I did well for myself with my last 2 businesses, but I just built them for money. Doing so has left me with an empty feeling, but now I have money to build another small business in a field that I really love. I am working 9 hours per day to make my 3rd business happen and it doesn't feel like I'm working at all. Find what you really care about and work in that field. VR seems like fun and it should really take off. Maybe do something in that industry?
>>684976877 Build a business around something you love. A business goal is to make money and if you focus it around something you love it will allow you to plow through all the bullshit you'll go through doing so and make it out alive and wealthy. No matter what don't give up because then you're dead.
>>684979939 Virtual Reality. They have yearly conferences and trade shows in the Hollywood Area. Imagine making content for VR like how people make content for youtube right now. It's probably the next internet gold rush. Just be sure to pick a field you are really interested in first and buy/rent top notch equipment.
>>684976877 Get a degree in a field thats in high demand. Forget that bullshit art, english, music, history bullshit. Science always pays....im in my 2nd year of nursing school and i gotta say, i havent even graduated yet the job offers are pouring in. Medicine is a huge field with thousands of different jobs available after graduation..
I was told initially (like as a teenager) that people should be making their age in $1,000's per year. I modified that to my age in $/hour. It's worked out, and I've been ahead of that curve for years. I'm in IT security. Generic, but pays well.
Others will say here 'do what you love', and even IF that is not what makes you money... STILL DO IT. Yes, get a job and pay your bills if you have to, but do what you enjoy on the side, and it will be something you can look forward to.
What is your college degree in, just out of curiosity? Is it something even remotely useful?
