But what possible reason would anyone have for falsifying the shape of our planet? There is no conceivable reason for it, and terabytes of data to prove it in the space program, flight records, satellites, for fucks sake. Fire off a high enough power laser and see if someone can catch it over the horizon. Theres a reason we have radio/Microwave masts, its to compensate for the curvature of the Earth.

What possible reason would anyone have for faking it? They would have to secure the silence of Literally Millions of people from astronauts to politicians to fucking meteorologists and any kind of environmental scientist, and falsifying decades worth of evidence to fake a round Earth. It would be a decades spanning project that would cost hundreds of billions. And for what?
