If these people only want to do that for sexual gratification, as long as it's between consenting adults then who are we to judge? Plus, yeah the fetishization is wrong; it's just an important step toward greater acceptance. People indulging in a fetish places trans people in a more prevalent place in people's minds, and I think that can only be a good thing. Right now, the fight for trans people isn't on the same stage as feminism. Feminism is "lets get an equal lifestyle through combative anti-bias", whereas trans people are still in the state of "holy fuck, trans people are a thing and not just Thai circus freaks?". It sucks, but if it's consolation progress is being made.
