A lot of shitty currencies fall in value. But how do you take advantage of that when holding physical currency. You can go long on a currency when you hold it, but how are you going short.
The only way to short physical currency is to get a loan in shit currency, instantly convert it to something better like USD or EUR, and then a few months later convert the USD or EUR back to shit currency and pay off the debt. Since you used less USD/EUR, you have some left over and that is your profit from the declining currency.
But who would loan you money in a foreign country on a fake passport. And if they did, why not just run off with the money instead, which is like a 100% return.

I honestly don't see how you are making money from a rapidly falling currency by sneaking around and holding physical cash. If you have a way, please enlighten me.
