Both Europe and America have great and horrible sides.

America did some fucking awesome stuff, get to the moon, freed us from the Germanz together with Canada/UK... a lot of stuff is invented in the US.

However, Europe has more culture, tradition and civilized history. When I was in the US, relatively new stuff was hailed as history. In Europe we have 1000-year old castles, beautiful old cities and great art.

I live in Europe right now but I might move to the US for a couple of years, and head back. I like and hate both places for many many reasons.

We're one of the worst first world countries in terms of income inequality, unemployment rate, food insecurity, life expectancy, and incarcerated citizens per capita (we're #2 in the world for that).
Hell, we're not even in the top 10 for personal freedom and freedom has always been our big thing. America doesn't exactly suck, but it's a long way from being the best country in the world at this point.
