>ITT: Albums in which you like every song.
tyler, the creator
Probably quite unlikeable: Finnish progressive rock.
One of the few albums which I consider to be perfect
Vera CAN be skipped but The Wall is probably the greatest full Album in history for that very reason.
In before The Dark Side of the Moon.
bought that album in early 1988, and I probably still listen to it at least once every week
Literally, try and find a better album.
Listened to this hundreds of times, never skip a track
So based. Fortunately mostly ignored by /mu/'s memelisteners
This. And any Iron Maiden album
Fly From Here - Yes
This album had me grooving nonstop
Also, lots of prog rock fans in this thread, I dig it
>The Mars Volta
/b/ has great music taste
In The Court of the Crimson King was one of the first albums I remember hearing, my dad was never a huge prog fan but he owned the LP and absolutely loved it.
Amazing album, the title track is so damn good.
I was turned on to prog by Rush - "2112" and Yes - "Fragile" (pic related)
As a bassist both these albums really hit home for some really innovative shit.
Mah fucking nigger. Every song is gold.
Pic related, also amazing for a reason I can't really describe.
Even though it sounds great, the main thing about the album is, at least for me, the lyrics. They're in Finnish.
By embedding, you only get the first song. The link is to a YouTube playlist containing the entire album.
Also, another album.
It is indeed in Finnish.
Yeah I figured how to get to the full playlist.
Good stuff, I probably won't be able to remember song names like, "Talvipäivänseisaus"
Tell me you skip a single song on this album and I'll tell you you're a fag.
John Paul Jones is one of my true bass heroes. Ramble on was one of the very first songs I learned on bass. Pretty much all of Houses Of The Holy has some brilliant fucking bass work.
Hell, all of JPJ's shit is brilliant.
Fuck all this hair rock hippy shit.
Nothing To Fear, Oingo Boingo. Every second of every song is like audio gold.
disagree, these aren't that great. Radiohead is garbage for edgy teens.
Hell fucking yeah!
I doubt anyone here will have ever listened to Bent but here it goes. One of the best British duo and most underrated musicians ever.
That's fucking great too. Also this.
He's just a uniformly excellent musician, be it on bass or playing keys.
As a guitarist my Led Zep hero is this motherfucker right here, almost got in to see him do a book signing here in Berlin but about 600 people showed up for 100 spots.
This thread needs moar metal
>props to whomever posted entire Iron Maiden discography
Words Of Farewell is some of my favorite new prog metal acts. Best song on album is most definitely "The Outer Rim"
>be hella into this thread
>search for that favorite song on youtube to embed to show /b/tards some hard ripping shit
>only song from album not on youtube
>mfw can't share favorite track
No electronic music fans here? Sasha's Involver 3 is just one of his great albums, probably his best IMO
pretty much true for every album by these guys
The whole album was amazing. Fuck the critics, they would not know real music of it hit them directly in the fucking face.
I have many others, this is just one
the strokes are fantastic, comedown machine is my personal favorite
Another OB fan? No way! Well, I'll post my actual favorite album by them. Kinda cheating as it's the farewell tour album, a mix of their best songs live.
No grind is better than Gridlink
Oingo Boingo is in my top 5
Nothing To Fear, Only A Lad, Good For Your Soul, Boingo
I can listen to all of these all the way through
Yeah yeah overrated
rare, perfect, and Television is the shit
glam metal comin through
Del Tha Funky Homosapien is def in top 10 favorite hip hop artists.
Also, Jurassic 5 is the tits.
Mad Season is fucking fantastic
This albums great, I adore most Pearl Jam albums though.
This fucking album is in my top 10, great tracks.
Have to credit my dad, he raised me on a diet of his favourite music. Growing up in the late 90s I heard a shitload of Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, The Eagles, The Kinks, ELO, all the shit he grew up with.
>Jamming along to this in the car when I was 7
Thought about it but decided it was kinda gay. Great album though. On the other hand, Butthole Surfers isn't god tier, but they kicked ass with their crazy shit for a while
I'm not saying the song is bad, I just severely dislike the name Michelle. If it we called My "insert literally any female name besides Michelle" I wouldn't have an issue. It's just a little tick of mine
Spunk rock from Canada...
All Alice in Chains albums for me
Talk about kick-ass music. Pic related
Rush is golden
Fuck people that say overrated. Nirvana is great
Seeing as most of the albums in this thread were picked by 10 year olds, I felt at least sorta comfortable putting it in there. And sorry, don't know anything about Butthole Surfers except that one song they play on the radio all the time nowadays is fucking awful.
This album is the shit though, don't care what any of you faggots think.
>top tier shit
This thread needed some Ska/Ska-Punk
>Mustard Plug master race
think you meant this
>implying that a drunk sounding James Hetfield is better
Layne is one of my idols, such a fucking shame that he died, he was a god/
I'm not entirely sure how, but I've listened to every Coheed and Cambria album several times over and there has never been a single song that has disappointed me. I used to dislike "Far" from Year of the Black Rainbow but then I heard the album version.
I'm kind of distraught by this. I'm used to being able to find shit songs from artists I renown.
I was particularly looking to see if anyone had posted revolver.
God tier contribution to the human race
I was underwhelmed, obviously wasn't going to classic Floyd but I did expect something a bit more punchy.
As an ambient, almost continuous, piece though, it's fucking majestic. Love the organ on Autumn '68
No fucking way OP, Same here!
Moby Dick...skip after listening to monster riff for a minute
This is true
An excellent choice
right choice for Beatles
soundtrack to college, superior
All my yes
That is a gem... Love 50/50
Sorted For E's and Wizz...classic
You are correct, sir
Nice choices, espec In Utero
Here's one you never see on these lists
Favorite thrash album ever
>be 5 years ago
>find Rust In Peace for $2 in discount box at record store
(pic related from that day)
I can't honestly say I'm a huge fan of "The Fix" and "Hooray". I would listen to them over almost anything on the radio, but I generally skip those two.
This, all day.
Amazing fucking album.
Listen to this shit, seriously.
Please don't crucify me.
fuck yeah my man
pretty much their first 6 albums
Start is the strongest but all of it is amazing
This. But no one here would know.
I liked Talkin' Hawkin'. It was kind of like a throwback to Keep Talking to me. I loved Keep Talking *I prefer the love versions because of that epic fucking talk box solo).
are you serious?
you put radiohead in the category of "edgy teens"
and then green day in "hell fucking yeah"..
are you special or something?
Can't stand any of Rush's work before Permanent Waves. Everything after is gold.
Nickel back Dark horse almub
You should really be giving credit to John Maclaughlin. He taught Page how to play and had a double neck SG some time before him for the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Of course Jimmy had to be a douche and steal that image.
Floyd in general, rarely a bad track, Echoes is another one I absolutely love.
>Forgot it's an albums thread, prove me wrong /b/ros
Alright, maybe not the song 'if'. But for a double album, that ain't bad.
but this too
Nothing wrong with Awesome Mix Vol. 1, can't believe I'm actually looking forward to Vol. 2.
>Cherry Bomb is kind of annoying though
A song mashup OST doesn't really count as an album. I don't even consider 'greatest hits' style ones albums, the song was already on an album it doesn't get to count a second time.
that album is awesome!
I grew to love it, was not expecting to like Fooled Around and Fell In Love that much either
Yeah I know, but I just had to post it, it has shot up my list of most listened to "albums"
10/10 would listen again
>inb4 im the only ELO fan
everyone here disappoints me
I would give my first born for tickets on the east coast.
captcha: said vkojust
ELO is great. It's just a shame that half of the people who post them on 4chan seem to think they're such unique little snowflakes who must be the only ones around who like them.
I'm not so sure, since we're related and all. I'm not into Alcest. And don't take me for some Goatwhore. I ain't saying you a gold digger, but you ain't fucking with some borknagar
I really dug that shit.
You're right, it's tough to come close to god tier albums like Leviathan or CtS. I also really dig Remission, it's fucking heavy as supercondensed dark matter.
High Road gets me every time.
Seriously, take tomorrow off and celebrate this. I recommend fapping vigorously to a screen shot.
On subject: Only Built 4 Cuban Lynx by Raekwon is god tier. Also, Liquid Swords by GZA plays from start to finish flawlessly
