That's pretty cool how all the dead trees are popping out of the water like that, great shot.
One without a lake that has my truck in it.
>>563032849
Yeah they've been dead for about 90 years, when the damn was built and the valley was flooded.

There's a lake i've fished in a few times that was formed from flooding out a valley and creating a dam, and i always got snagged on the old stumps

Too many filters, bro. Natural beauty is best beauty.
I love going on backpacking trips and looking out my tent to see places like this. Just beautiful.

I just hope the forest stays there, it's beautiful in all seasons.
poorfag here
kudos on the nice shots. I envy you guys.
I must confess I spend a lot of time on google streetview going to places I could never afford to set foot to

Ahh, i was going to guess NorCal. This reminds me a lot of the eastern interior of BC, really sparse vegetation and rocky mountains.

I must confess i do the same, hahah. Don't feel bad anon. We all have dreams, one day it'll happen. I pour almost everything i make into my truck to take me beautiful places like the ones I'm posting, but it comes at a cost of my future (Which i should really start thinking about, shit I'm almost 22 now...) Everything comes in time.
>>563036558
I wish i had forests around me, too much urban development
>>563036850
I'm too much of a chicken shit to go Urban Exploring. I always psych myself out and get creeped out and have to leave, and have never really been able to get over it. Something about abandoned structures really creep me out.
>>563036928
Sunrise through the haze, nice.
>>563036602
It's called Albion Basin at Alta resort. IT's at about 9000 feet. You get about a 3 week window in late July - Early August when all the wildflowers bloom up there. It's breathtaking really. Here's another one
The side of our yard.
2.3 acres, so enough land to do some shit on.

Twas actually sunset, lol. Here's another sunset I took. I'm sorry that you can see my camera a bit in the window, but this picture means a lot to me.

when I see untouched places like that I worry about our earth
like now, we have enough to feed the people, but everyday we keep cutting trees to clear land for urban sprawl, trees that make oxygen for us, and we keep breeding, and we dig and forage and dump all kinds of waste into the air and water.
I wonder if the sky will still be blue in 40 years.

>>563038132
Don't you want to whip out your pecker and daintily push it into the spider's web so it begins twiddling with the dicktip, thinking it is food?
And when it realizes it as an enemy it sinks its little barbs dripping with venom into your dick and makes it swell up and turn purple?
Or you can be nice and just sperm on its spiderpussy.
>>563038098
Looks like you had some damn good soup that night, eh? Lol
>>563038040
Gorgeous. Definitely going on my travel list. Within the next 10 years, i plan on loading up my truck and driving all across the america's and seeing all i can.

This is Vermont- the state is about 90% forested mountains and always will be- the population is rural and decreasing.

Very cool stuff. "Standing Timber" usually makes for excellent fishing. I fish two lakes a few times a year where the same was done. Little Lake Seneca in Black Hill Park in Maryland and Raystown Lake in Pennsylvania. Raystown is pretty wild because it has a maximum depth of about 200'. From one end of the jon boat to the other the drop in depth can be well over 50 feet at times.
This isn't a very good picture but I added in a google map capture for scale. People put houseboats, party barges and bayliner type boats in there. The fishing is incredible too.
>>563039220
Pictures don't do that glacier justice at all. My camera can't capture the deep blue colours it really is.
>>563039276
I've always loved that desert rock texture
lil' train tracks bullshit for y'all

I haven't had the chance to fish much this year. It's mostly been hiking and 4x4ing, with 1 truck camping/fishing trip, but i drank too much and didn't really want to fish the next day lol

Nice, you do any ocean this year?

Same here. I take an older little coolpix with me that doesn't do well for quality when it comes to landscapes. Fine for fishing trips but not much else.

that lightning is sick. this thunderstorm in shanghai had these amazing lightning bolts but i didn't catch any on camera. i love it though. and yeah i'm living in new york but i love it out west
>>563042410
Nice. I picked up a first-gen Tundra about 3.5 years ago and my only regret is that it isn't 4WD and doesn't have the LSD. Still for the price it was a steal. I've been slowly outfitting it since. Found a Leer cap in VA for only $300 couple months ago and I might try to locate a TRD differential or air lockers in the future.
I will say I kicked myself for every car I'd owned before getting a pickup. Definitely so much more fun for things like camping/fishing trips and way more utility.
>>563043098
I'm a bad Marylander. Haven't been to the ocean in a few years. I don't think I even have any shore-fishing gear at the moment.
>>563044717
tell me about it, but that was sheer luck while i was holding the camera, I have been trying to do some longer exposures recently though
>>563044203
I'm not saying it isn't totally fucking awesome, cuz it is.

>>563046948
wow that looks sick, I love trails that give you foliage and mountainous variety, if you ever get a chance out west, try driving up past the tree lines
>>563046948
Something closer to civilisation
>>563046421
That's the only stamp I don't have and it's pretty stupid of me because it's only like $5 regularly and I think $2 in my case since I already have the Bay/Tidal fishing license. I definitely need to try soon, either trot or hand lining. There are talks of a moratorium on blue crab since they've not been doing well for some time. I'd miss my favorite food if it happens but it's honestly overdue and I'd support the decision. I hope people can get pollution and over-harvesting under control soon.
>>563047495
I'm going to make that my wallpaper for a while lol, that's my favorite pic so far in this thread.
That's one of the reasons i love exploring mountains so much, is for views like this when you make it to the top

>>563045958

>>563048376
yeah I know, that whole bay area is so fucked by pollution, I've seen so many fish with no eyeballs I could open up a retarded fish sushi stand
>>563048407
craziest thing about that pic is that it's just on the side of some road I had to use when the floods destroyed the road to my house this past fall, it's so crazy where you can find awesome scenes like this in Colorado
>>563049102
Man i think all i got left is just shit with my truck in it lol
>>563049138
Yeah, you never know what you'll find. I've never left British Columbia before, but this province continues to amaze me
>>563049432
I've always wanted to check out the BC, where are the best photo spots/places to see sasquatch?
>>563049873
Lived in BC most of my life, never seen one. Seen moose and bear and beaver and injuns, but never a sasquatch. Go to the downtown east side in Vancouver and drive along Hastings and you'll see some shit though.
>>563049873
Anywhere innawoods.
Bring beer though, they like it.
>>563050378
Moose errywhere, man. I had one come within 4 feet of running into the side of my truck on the highway. If i was going a little slower, he would have been through my windshield
Took this in Virginia a few years ago, always kinda liked it.
>>563050378
>>563050564
well I do hear Canada can provide some crazy shit
>>563050914
where is that in VA?
This is some Alexandria right hur
>>563050956
On my last hiking trip, a bear was chilling like 20ft from us on the trail just watching me. I got pretty close to him and he still just sat there, which was sketching me out cuz he wasn't even reacting so i walked back to the truck
>>563051540
That bear might have been sizing you up or just couldn't give half a flying fuck in the world about anything
>>563051495
That's in Alexandria?
>>563051884
yeah during this past January
Here's another pretty cool one.. A wallaby that decided it liked my dog. We think it must have been hand raised then released.
>>563052145
>>563051540
can't tell if it's a brown or black bear
brown bear = death
black bears on the other hand are pretty shy
you should carry that bear spray thingie in case that ever happens again. it could save your life.
oh, and you can't tell by fur color alone. I think it's a black bear because of the shoulders.
>>563052305
and even black bears can be dangerous if it's a mother who thinks you're a threat to her youngs

Estuarine crocodile. Taken in Darwin, northern territory, Australia. With a big fucking zoom, of course.
>>563052305
Brown/black bears are extremely shy. There's a big difference between a brown bear and a Grizzly bear. Grizzlies will rip out your neck and shit down your throat with 0 warning. Brown/black bears are all cuddly n shit
But anyways, awesome shots, guys. I have to head to bed though. Thanks for all the contributions, been nice talking to you anons.
>>563056443
