God-tier album thread go
It's more mid-tier.
ELO's first album was god-tier.
This shit right here.
There really isn't a point to this thread, it would be better if it was an album of the year thread.
>teen angst pls go
Or at least underrated music, some really good folk punk here.
Seriously this album is free on their bandcamp, go listen to this shit now.
It's a shit album.
calls franz teen angst, posts swans
10,000 days in the fire is long enough...
Not god-tier but still underrated.
Since when is post punk angst?
>tfw nobody knows
>inb4 rap/hip hop isn't music
GvsB in their heyday, best fucking rock ever made.
i take it youre a slut, and that you promise to be happy if i make you happy
No one genre is angsty, and I enjoy both Franz and Swans. But Swans definitely give off a darker and edgier vibe than Franz ever have.
either way I actually enjoy swans but you're still missing the entire point of that message.
CAPTCHA makeun stable
he aint oldfag enough to know.
Godliest of Tiers
Exceeds God tier... what is after that?
Is that really your favourite BOC release? Music Has the Right to Children or Campfire Headphase are far superior BOC albums. But opinions and shit. enjoy what you enjoy.
This album could not be made better in any way. It is the very definition of perfect.
Just grab the greatest hits. Every hit they had was incredible. After you get familiar with the songs, find out which albums they're from and download. They are VERY worth getting into. Jeff Lynne is perhaps one of the most underrated musicians of the last century. The guy wrote music for so many people. Half of Tom Petty's hits have his name on them.
>The guy wrote music for so many people. Half of Tom Petty's hits have his name on them.
No shit. Really? That's pretty neat. Thanks buddy, I'll go for the hits then
don't /b/ring me down....
this guy >>556162813 doesn't know shit.
is that the one with "The battle of Marston Moor"? my god, six minutes of painful cello sawing. i hate that song.
Out of the Blue would be fucking god tier in my mind if my gf and i hadn't been listening to it just before we broke up.
Come on, where's the Black Sabbath?
double thanks you
mah nigga. Any Iron Maiden album previous of 1991 apart from something by Blaze is better than sex

Thanks for gettin that bloke inna me music, mate.
I'll buy you a pint next time you're in Birmin'ham.
o damn i nominate this one almost forgot about it, one of the few cds i ever had where i legitimately was like, in love with every track. super good stuff
The Stranglers - Black and White
I know you ain't heard it. You ought to.
stranglers are fucking legend, just wanted you to know that before I posted some other legendary shit...
This shit right here.
You all have absolutely awful taste. Sincerely, /mu/.
I don't know why but I cringed at this one.
Don't get me wrong, Tool is an awesome band, you just seam like one of those "Maynard is god and I want his long hard god-like cock in and around my face"
I bet you've got long hair too.
Would you prefer we'd like this garbage?
>I LOOVEE YOU YEEEZZUUSSSS CHRIIIIIIIIISTTTTTTTT
Lel, listen to true patrish shit faggots.
Link related, the ultimate /mu spawned band.
PanterA fuck yeah
This music fills me with so many desires.
lel you're the epitome of /mu/ faggots who think they're patrish as shit for listening to shitty obscure bands on bandcamp that they don't actually understand
Sounds like a half-assed hybrid of bad metal and krautrock without the charm of either
Alright, check this one then. It was in the top 3 of best BC albums of 2013. You officially have shit taste if you don't like it.
i feel it
>also, I quite like Humbug by AM, some interesting ideas explored there
imo this album will one day be known as the best thing to happen to the world
this album right here
Glad to see people still listen to Electric Light Orchestra here.
I remember when it became popular on the image boards around 2005 because the song "Twilight" was featured in Densha Otoko.
Maybe the other albums are more well-liked and arguably better from the perspective of a musician, but Time is still my favorite. It has a little bit of the styles from all their previous albums, but also dove into the the then emerging new-wave and synthpop rather gracefully.
Is OP a mega super turbo oldfag too?
What to people think of this
The first track is the best one of them all
I'm embarrassed for you all.
Only God-tier so far (that I've recognized).
He answered it himself.
Yes but no
this one will be wasted on you young faggots
cunninlynguists - a piece of strange

Named an evil cow after this one...
Every album in this thread has been either directly or indirectly influenced by this masterpiece
That's quite a bold statement.
Oh shit I forgot about aerodynamic and stuff. I just remembered discovery is my favorite.
how bout this
One of my favorite albums of all time
This masterpiece, as well as most of his other stuff.
I can't find the original article but Wikipedia states:
"In 1995, a panel of top musicians, songwriters and producers assembled by MOJO magazine voted Pet Sounds as the #1 greatest album among them"
And you can hear the influence absolutely everywhere, everything on this album at the time was so new and revolutionary it pretty much established a new standard for popular music.
best album cover too
agreed, def his best album
pretty much everything posted is rock, time to change that
probably the first time i've ever seen mac dre on /b/

>dont listen to this guy
Totaly forgot about Arual psynapse, dem feels.
Mau5 sold out I'm afraid, there's lots of artists who should go back to their trance roots just one more time.
Damn straight. For some reason I don't mind Balance of Power, and I might like it a bit more than Time, but Out of the Blue is still my favorite.
Grateful DEAD - American Beauty
It's been theorized that the Mesopotamians worshipped a deity comprised of feces, offal and vomit.
By that standard, OP, your selection is most certainly "god-tier".
Wesley Willis Greatest Hits
the versace phillosopher

My favorite album ever.
Love this one and OK computer
no doubt this is in the top 5 world wide
Hey nigger, I just listened to Brian Wilson's Smile for the first time this week. I would put it on par with Pet Sounds. Incredible album. If you haven't heard it yet, give it a spin.
