I genuinely believe The Miz to be one of the most underrated talents of all time. Honestly, if WWE were to give him enough freedom on the microphone he could cut promos on matching those of some all time greats such as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Granted his in ring ability might not be the as spectacular as you would expect from a top tier talent. But if you take a close look into the history of professional wrestling, you will notice that many main event level workers haven't been incredible in-ring workers.

Look at a guy like Daniel Bryan. Amazing in the ring, no doubt about that. But going back all the way to the days of the old NXT, before it became the NXT it is today, it used to be a reality show like "competition" where each of the rookies had a mentor. Where am I going with this? Well you see Daniel Bryan was in the first season of NXT and his mentor was none other than the Miz. My point is that Daniel Bryan, with all his ablity, was nothing but a mere rookie compared to the great Miz. This in itself should be proof enough that wrestling ability isn't always the most important aspect of a top level WWE Superstar.

Even so, microphone skills alone aren't enough to assert the Miz a "GOAT" label deserving superstar. What does the Miz have that grants him this title? Drawing Power. That's right, arguably THE attribute that makes a superstar is his ability draw. This is the quality that ALL the greats share. Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena. And last, but definitely not least - The Miz.

All you have to do is take a look at Raw ratings and PPV buyrates and you will see that during Miz's title reign, these absolutely skyrocketed. Given the chance, he is someone who could elevate WWE to grand new heights, challenging companies such as McDonalds or Apple. By booking the Miz to win the Rumble, WWE could usher a new attitude era, only even greater.

Baron Corbin has the best gimmick in wrestling today. From the success of guys like CM Punk and Bryan, more and more fans want to see indie wrestlers coming up and getting opportunities in NXT and on the main roster. At the same time, there is a clash when Vince wants a certain type of "superstar" who he sees fit as main eventers - tall, handsome, built guys w/ some sort of athletic background, not necessarily guys who have high workrate or can talk. Here you have a 6'8" built former football player and amateur boxer that absolutely despises indie wrestlers, in a time where fans want their favorites from the indies getting pushed. Baron Corbin is that clash that is going on right now between the WWE and its hardcore fans, he is the disdain that fans have for Roman Reigns personified. The gimmick is so unique and absolute genius, and in the context of NXT where it has now become the indie wrestler promotion (Balor, Zayn, Crews, Hideo, Joe, Busick, Swann, Gargano, Ciampa, Asuka, now Austin Aries, soon Gallows/Nakamura/Anderson, etc.) his gimmick has the potential to get nuclear heat.
