Is sumo wrestling basically fat people doing Judo and pushing each other?

^ Great daily recap, shows match highlights and slowmotions, gives necessary information prior to match such as Rank, current match Win/Lose in a tourney and match outcomes between the rikishi (wrestlers). Following this channel made me love sumo as it gives a more western feel to it, a faster, quicker, more attention grabbing sumo without many of the unnecessary dull traditions. although later I came to like tradition stuff, which is actually pretty interesting.

^ Has commentary over the matches and mainly shows the biggest/most interesting matches of the day. Shows whole ceremonial process before the match and comments on what's happening and explains some stuff. Sometimes it's fluff and just sheer speculation on what's happening, might happen, etc. but it's really great if you just want to take an hour of your day, listen to some guy talk about sumo and chill.

This is american sumo and it's fake and for show, just like regular wrestling.

I guess that's what happens when you export a sport to USA, it becomes stupid. Just look at Football.

I've made a Sumo thread for the last 3 bashos and they've gone pretty well, not a huge amount of posting but it's good fun
