Yesterday I was practicing my front side pop shuv its (I've been skating for years and never got these down). While practicing them I noticed that when I messed up the board would end up doing front heels. So now, after some practice, I can Frontside Heelflip (not varial). Just started skating again for the past two weeks after 7 years, just want to say thanks for the support. I'm starting to get my tricks back. My board is wood warped pretty bad but it was fairly new when I stopped skating, should I get a new one? I've only skated on 8's, I was feeling like getting a cheap board that's smaller. meh, I ride an 8.125 and have 8 inch trucks, I'd recommend you get the deck and then maybe wait and save your money until you have enough to get new trucks, just my opinion. It's best to have trucks that are close to the size of the deck, its all up to you really, but if it was up to me i'd either get new trucks or wait until I have money for trucks.

I just regular ipod earbuds, I can skate with them on or off no problem. Its like skating with a hat or your hood on. I never skate with music on if I am at a skate park though. Anywhere else I usually have my earbuds on because it makes forget about the people and cars everywhere, I do not get self conscience at all. I'm not entirely sure about Gregson being better at transition than Jaws though. It takes a bit of sitting through him jump down shit but Jaws has pulled off some impressive transition skating over the years. I can't remember which video it was from but I recall him doing a fakie 540 grabbing backside instead of mute and in one of his A Happy Medium parts doing a 360 Eggplant over a spine. Both of which are the sort of transition tricks which stand out to me more than Gregson's constant blunts and noseblunts. Maybe that isn't some objective view point though

Actually got the board to jump from the ground and landed like 75% of the times, but sometimes the grip was hitting my skin (wearing shorts) and ended all red and burning, what was I doing wrong?
