This is probably my first time posting on /asp/ so forgive me if this sounds like a dumb question. Does anyone have some good leg stretches and exercises to improve flexibility?
Back when I was a kid I used to do Taekwondo and Hapkido classes. Then I grew up and joined the military, so I haven't had a chance to practice at all. It's been over ten years and I can barely get my legs to stretch above my hips. I'd like to get back my old form but first I need to be able to throw a kick without tearing a muscle.
Any ideas? Picture is unrelated.
Do each stretch shown in the following 9 gifs about 5 times each, and then maybe do them 5 more times again.
Follow by kicking a heavy bag or something, and then cool down by walking around for a minute or two.
Do the same stretches again, but hold them for about 15 seconds each.
