New to airsofting, been once but went in just some walking pants and a grey hoodie. I've decided im going to buy some gear for it and was wondering if anyone would recommend and certain pieces of kit, certain camos etc? Anything will be very helpful
>>
Look around the local goodwills for uniform pieces in different camos.
I got a pair of us military combat trousers in desert, light urban and woodland camouflage all together for less than $20.
It's not even hard.
>>
Depends on your price range. But go on Evike, Airsoft GI, local stores. Also Jet Desert Fox, Evike, and Airsoft GI all have awesome youtube channels.

Assuming you're from the US check out this map for a camouflage pattern to use.

Camos depend wildly on where you are. But even then wont make you invisible, especially if you move. Generally stuff militaries use will come with lots of pockets and are rather sturdy. The pants you could wear aswell for working, doing housewqork, stuff like that.
If you kneel down a lot you probably want pads to protect your knees, or go for more expensive pants with built in pads. You wont need pads for the elbows likely.
Gear is mostly a preference thing. Just don't take too much, if you run around all day every useless gram will hurt at some point. I'd spent more at first for stuff protecting you from wind and weather. Reloading half a second faster is not worth freezing over.
You can probably also just ask the people you play with about their gear, what they like and what not.

Just get a pair of emerson G3 set (if you don't want Crye, bitch nigga), in whatever colour adapts well to your area's local airsoft acreage. You can find for pretty cheap when they have sales.

They are good quality, I use them pretty hard; doing Milsim trainings lead by active forces and little airsoft pickup games and a rare milsim game.

They haven't torn or anything yet and it's been a year.

If your at any of the bigger events, (and that scrub pine suggests florida, so MindGames productions) you'll want two sets of clothing. the colors for whatever pattern you get (pattern doesn't matter outside of "does it work?") should be either green or tan. this is because the simplest approach to separating teams is literally by this method. people in green camo against people in tan camo.

Army/navy surplus is a good start, as well as amazon. get the used cheap stuff to start out, this will keep you from worrying about your hundred dollar pants when you jump into muck.

finally, If I'm right, and you play in Florida then you should really be more interested in carrying water than looking pretty. It is amazing how many newcomers have absolutely no concept of proper hydration.

This is a really impressive concept map. however I will argue that the larger part of Florida can easily function with both multicam and flecktarn, and that flecktarn is really effective in the flooded grassland area.

There's actually a gear buying guide in the airsoft general. Buy equipment in this order as budget allows:
>Boots (DON'T GO CHEAP)
>Gloves (Mechanix are a good baseline)
>Kneepads (you get what you pay for)
>Load Bearing Rig (Only what you need)
>Headgear (helmet or hat or skip it, up to you, just mind your forehead)
>Dedicated clothing (can be camo or just some sturdy pants and shirts)

I'm not someone who heavily supports camo use. It helps that I'm an indoor player mostly, but for the most part, by the time you're in range to shoot a guy with your airsoft gun, camouflage isn't going to make much difference. Still, I'm not going to say you shouldn't use camo, just make sure to prioritize more essential equipment. A good pair of boots or a high quality load bearing rig can cost quite a bit.
