Cena's got the US Belt, and he's pretty much out of the World Title scene for now. His last few months with the US Belt have actually been pretty good. The title has been defended in good, long matches almost every week on Raw, in which Cena retains (duh), but his opponent always puts up a great fight. For example, his two matches with Cesaro on Raw allowed Cesaro to display his full moveset and get some cool spots in, and he only looked better for it. Even though he didn't win, Cesaro's fan following grew substantially after both matches, because he was allowed to show the fans what he's made of and show them that he could hold his own against Super Cena. On top of letting a few wrestlers prove their worth to the crowd, these defenses have also boosted the prestige of the US Title. After so many consistently good matches for the title, it seems more important and more meaningful. On top of what he's been doing with the US Belt, Cena has also added a few moves to his repertoire, like the tornado DDT, the inverted vertical suplex, the kneelout electric chair facebuster, the Michinoku driver 2, the Frankensteiner, the springboard stunner, and a variation of the sunset flip powerbomb. It's hard for a babyface to maintain a decent moveset, which is a problem Cena faced for a long time, but he's managed to build a respectable moveset. My only gripe here is that he's too heavy to deliver the Frankensteiner properly to most of the roster, resulting in a few self-powerbombs, but that's not too big a deal, since he mostly feuds with stronger guys anyway. He's always been good on the mic, he's always been able to put on a good match, and he's always had good psychology, and none of that has changed. Cena still has his negatives, though. His promos are still too long, he's still being pushed on a crowd that just doesn't want him the way he is right now, he's still a goody-two-shoes fruity pebble, he wins too often in general, (cont.)

His moveset has expanded, heтАЩs putting more effort into selling, and heтАЩs boosting the prestige of the US Title while making new talent look good. HeтАЩs still pushed down our throats, but not nearly as badly as he used to be. Most fans will never like the fruity pebble character, but it has a valid reason to exist. That being said, I, like most adult fans, canтАЩt wait for his eventual heel turn, whenever the time is right for it to come. (cont.)

You know, it occurs to me that after 10yrs of Cena, the midcard titles are being dug back out of obscurity and guys like Ryback and Cesaro whom wouldn't go very far in the business are now getting the spotlight more often. Hell, after a botched series of storylines, the Wyatt's and even Reigns are getting some legit heat and cheers. Some smarks might not agree, but I'm seeing a trend here; the guys who might have been overlooked are now getting their due recognition and the titles are all being put on the same level. We even have Kane going to the main event soon.

What I'm trying to say is, look at the WWE right now and tell me you honestly can't see something changing. The US Title is once more relevant, the IC title is going places, and the tag team division is REALLY good. Yes, the divas division is still shit and probably will be so long as Vince has final say, but the rest of the brand is starting to look MUCH better. Personal opinion, but I can see all 3 main titles and the tag titles holding the same level of prestige in the near future.

DX's importance is overstated.

First, where to start:
Some people say that the Attitude started at KotR '96 with Austin's KotR win. Others say that it started at WrestleMania 13 with Austin vs Hart, or at Survivor Series '97 with the Montreal Screwjob. The most common start date is given as WrestleMania XIV with Austin vs HBK. Personally, I'd start with WrestleMania 13. That way you get that match, one of Bret Hart's best, and get to see most of '97, which I think is excellent. Plus that way you do get to see DX's rise throughout that year.

You start with watching the PPVs from then till around 2001. I'd stop with WrestleMania X7, but the following year's WrestleMania is quite good too. That way you get Hogan vs Rock, which is possibly Hogan's last great match.

You could also watch the RAWs, but there's a lot of mediocre ones in there mixed in with the classics.

That's my two cents anyway.

I think they should focus on building their talent a bit more and introduce story-lines that will hook fans a bit later.
