DESU they never should have hit him with the Montreal Screwjob. The angle should have been Owen leaving the foundation and going over Bret at Survivor Series. Bret would have gladly put Owen over, then Bret would leave and Owen would get his time in the spotlight, he could have been babyface in a DX feud since DX acted like heels anyways and then we would have had Owen vs. Stone Cold at Wrestlemania, with a nice built in feud of Owen previously having broken Stone Cold's neck. Shit would have been way better than broken back Shawn vs. Stone Cold.
