This. I was trying really hard to be objective while watching it but it was objectively pretty fucking bad. A lot of the girls in the 1st round were straight up garbage, and the commentary was embarrassing at best. It's sad that this will make a lot of normies think this is the best women's wrestling has to offer.

That's cause they were mostly filler from NXT for the veterans. Women like Zeda, Xia Li, Belair, Devi, Salinas, Taynara, Ayesha and maybe a few more were all VERY green. The WWE went out and got veteran independent wrestlers to help justify the tournament to get Kairi over but they couldn't get enough veterans so the developmental stars had to step up. It just goes to show you how weak their women's division has been since the big call ups over the last 2 years.
