They literally do need part-timers.
>>
Their part-timers are the only draws left. They literally don't have a choice here lol.
>>
in all seriousness, is Bork drawing enough to justify how much they pay him?
>>
>>3134691
Definitely. His shirts are, what, 25 bucks or something? He's on a few million a year. He'd have to move 150,000 shirts to make the company back that literal amount.
Plus people who go to shows to see him, other merch, the few house shows he works.
Easy.
>>
>>3134691
He does not draw normies, he ain't a mainstream appeal. But the edrones do like him and buy his cringey shirts. Nah the faggot is not a draw, an e draw yes.

Anyone who believes WWE doesn't need Brock is objectively wrong.

The real problem they have is figuring out a good way to rehab Brock's aura after he jobs to the total anti-draw that is Roman Reigns.

Brock is the most based man on the roster. He literally has Vince by the balls.

>Draws
>Knows what's best for business
>GOAT seller
>GOAT at backstage politics
>Draws MMA dimes just by mentioning UFC he's in headlines for a week
>Doesn't give a shit about wrestling and is only there for money and his respect for Vince
>Works marks and smarks alike over being part time

It's Brock even a wrestling draw anymore?
>>
>>3134781
There are so few actual draws, But when it comes to normies (not the IWC, which is actually a minority) he is one of the few wrestlers that will get ppl excited for a ppv main event. Braun seems to be on his way of getting there, same with Roman.
>>
>>3134781

buyrates are a thing of the past and he doesnt affect ratings to any significant degree

but WWE has invested so much into him its like they cant let him go
>>
>>3134794
>same with Roman
Hi Joe!
>>

Brock, Cena, Punk and Bryan are the onlywrestlers that non-fans know nowadays, besides HHH.

Obviously most people know Cena and Brock, people who quit watching or saw the Youtube memes know Orton, Punk had publicity from ESPN etc... Then UFC then sadly MTV but I am guessing that was BAD publicity. Bryan was featured on sports networks for a little while and was on the Total Divas shit which has some unique viewers.

Do they draw? Lesnar sells decent merch, MAINTAINS viewers, and pops gates. Cena does all well, Punk and Bryan made moderate money and maintained viewers. Orton was always a steady draw, not a huge mover but has sold steady merch and maintained viewers plus has been wildly over almostevery night no matter how shit his feuds have been.

Also Miz is moderately known from MTV which is dwindling now as it is long over, and sports networks which he is always on. But the atrocious way he is booked I wouldn't blame anyone to not want to watch even if he knew him

The WWE absolutely killed their appeal over the years,,the final nail was Punk and Bryan leaving an the product having a total status quo feeling with no point in tuning in as you miss NOTHING. The best most actual draws can do is pop viewers a little if thy are still even checking to see what is happening on tv,which many people gave up on in the past three years, and keep more people from losing all interest.

WWE has completely failed to bring in new viewers besides a few kids and women, and have lost many channel surfers who don't even check in anymore.

They need storylines media and stars who will draw new viewers and todays demographics, which they failed with in the Shield which was their plan with the three different personalities all pushed who could appeal to different people (whether you want to think this is the Shield's fault, booking's fault or both is up to you.)

But anon, that is a classic business mistake known as sunk cost fallacy

They do need part timers though. The full time talent are either hacks or have been buried 6ft under. Part timers are the only ones who are over because they aren't around consistently enough to be booked into the ground.

His contract is up next year. The final job is to Roman and that's it, no more Brock
>>

WWE needs to cut literally half of the roster. Too many literal whos to keep track off. Too many baseless story lines.

End the brand split trash too.

>muh grueling schedule

tough shit, all the legends did it that way
>>
>wwe wants the universal title to be the "big" one
>give it to a geek right away who has to vacate it
>give it to a fatass who kills the ratings with it
>give it to an oldman
>give it to a guy who is legit, but never defends it

Nice prop wwe.
>>
>>3135052
USA were the ones to demand the brand split and considering how much of WWe's money comes from them, no way do they not listen.
>>
>>3134807
>Brock, Cena, Punk and Bryan are the onlywrestlers that non-fans know nowadays, besides HHH.

Cena and to a lesser degree Brock are the only ones non-fans know., unless it's a parent with a kid that's a big fan of Bryan or Punk (or any other wrestler)

Well in all fairness, I'd say its about 55-45. 55% WWE being literally incompetent when it comes to booking, 45% Roman not being top guy material.
>>
>>3134690
>Their part-timers are the only draws left. They literally don't have a choice here lol.

Yeah, didn't read the article but he is correct in a way. Problem is, WWE just needs to make all of those part-timers full-timers if they actually want to sustain a large viewing audience.

The part-timers are the draws and, if they can't be used more often, then WWE is fucked now with MNF starting. The ratings aren't going to get any higher for the rest of the year unless they pull miracles out of their asses.
