It's incredible how much better the product was in 1997 than 1996. WCW/NWO really was incredibly influential. 1996 had a decent storyline or two, but you almost didn't want to watch - even though it was only an hour - because the presentation of the overall product was so mind numbingly terrible.

I can only imagine how awful 1993-1995 must have been.
