Honestly, I don't see the huge problem with this. It's not like one side is tarped after the show starts. Those seats are never made available in the first place and the free that were are filled. They only fill one side of the arena because it's a TV show and they don't want 8 people dispersed in a 15-20k arena. It would look terrible.

Leave the basement. If you have a weekly show, you're not gonna sell out every seat every time. 8k tickets sold in an arena that seats 10k looks like shit on camera if every you have 1k in the nosebleeds, 4k on cam side and the rest spread throughout the arena.

Dayton sucks ass and the fact that Vince still continues to put Smack shows in that city instead of other cites with a larger wrestling market like Columbus is a testament of how incompetent he is at promotion. Columbus is a HUGE wrestling city in Ohio and it always sells out RAM shows every time it's around. Last time Smackdown came here was five years ago and that was during the original brand split. Seriously Cincy and Cleveland gets both RAM and Smack, but Columbus is lucky to have just one RAM a year and the mandatory NXT show for the Arnold Sports Fest.
