The WWE honestly needs to get rid of half the roster
>>
Yeah, the upper half.
>>
>>3102521
Why? You don't have to pay them anyway.
>>
Maybe a quarter of it. No idea why they have so many useless fucks sitting around when they're barely making a profit as it is. Such a waste to pay people you're not even using
>>
>>3102535
No, but I hate seeing useless fucks on my TV
>>
>>3102543
If they are on TV, they aren't useless.
>>
>>3102539

I think they're just hoarding talent.
>>
>>3102521 Summer and Darren specifically.
>>
>>3102550
You want to see a Tye Dillenger match?
>>
>>3102521
Yes they do, but they won't.
>>
>>3102550
lmao
>>
>>3102557
I want to see ten of them.
>>
>>3102521
can any nxt fag actually tell me what his gimmick is like its just the number 10 who actually thought this would a successful gimmick
>>
>>3102563
If they are on TV they are used one way or the other.
>>
>>3102573
He is the Perfect 10!

I don't know...he was pretty much the NXT Sami Zayn or Sasha Banks: High level jobber to make the actual champions and top guys look better.

Now he has to push Aiden English of all fucking people.
>>
>>3102521
It doesn't matter who they have on the roster, they'll still be putting 10 hours of boring, formulaic content a week. I remember thinking that WWE might be improved by signing all the best indie wrestlers out there, but nothing really changed. Now instead of watching failed athetes and roided up bodybuilders have shit matches because they're talentless, you get to watch good wrestlers having medicore matches because because they're not allowed to do anything else.

You could take all of the greats, pluck them out of history at the very peak of their careers and put them in WWE now with the same kind of restrictions that the current wrestlers have (forced scripted promos, dull 'WWE style' matches ect.) and it'd still be fucking shite.

this

Wrestling shows have never been good. It's always been 75% filler at best. There's typically only 4 or 5 guys that are both over and entertaining at any given point. Watching RAM and Smackdown every week is torture, and I feel bad for those that put themselves through it.
>>
>>3102573
Mr Perfect crossed with Mojo Rowley's enthusiasm.
Was supposed to be a heel. As in "Everything I do is 10/10" but he got too over and now he's a face who just shouts 10.
>>
>>3102521
if you wanna watch the same 5 people wrestle each other go watch NJWP faggot
>>
>>3102521
They need to get rid of half of the PC as well.
>>
>>3102521
It could be good if they cut 75% of the roster, cut Smackdown, cut Raw to 2 hours, got rid of NXT and got rid of 205. Raw should be 2 hours and that's it.
>>
>>3102638
lmao
>>
>>3102618
Gladly
>>
>>3102638
This. WWE was best when it only had 2 hours of weekly TV and one monthly PPV

Um, it still has that...

You just have to have the constitution and mental strength to say, "Hey, you know what? Why don't I cut out RAM from my wrestling consumption. Perhaps I watch too much wrestling and I can use that time to go out and get laid."

But you won't do that. Cause you're a fucking worthless e-drone Rawtist who can't think for himself.

Bitch.
>>
>>3102521
I'm happy for Tye cause he's from my hometown but man the 10 thing has got to be one of the stupidest fucking gimmicks of all time and it just screams jobber
>>
They have to figure out different ways to tell stories, they have to branch out, find creative vision and also get rid of a bunch of these wrestlers. Keep some of them for your house shows but seriously consider getting actually talented actors/comedians/performers instead of wrestling marks. I mean, I know I'm asking a lot, but nobody is on television (ALL TELEVISION) more than guys like Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and yet the public doesn't know who they are.

Think about that shit. We live in a world where if you're on tv you're considered a famous celebrity and these guys are on tv more than anybody and THEY ARE COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS NOBODIES.

WWE is absolutely the most irrelevant thing in the world.
>>
>>3102638
I agree with generally cutting down the amount of content they put out, because it really is way too much, but you wouldn't need to get rid of that much of the roster. It's generally better to have a roster on the larger side so you don't have the same wrestlers on every single show. And NXT is partially their developmental promotion too, so it would probably be best to hold onto that.

That said, even if they just did a single 2 hour Raw every week, it wouldn't fix the general 'quantity over quality' philosophy that's ruining the company to begin with. You'd still have everyone half assing it on Raw, shitty promos, shittier storylines that go nowhere and take their time doing it.
>>
>>3103145
>WWE is absolutely the most irrelevant thing in the world.
WWE is drawing record revenue
>>
>>3103196
lol
>>
>it's a "WWE is bad for any factor other than Vince" thread
>>
>>3102616
It's this kind of fucking shit I hate the NXT crowd for. Tye couls be a good midcard heel with his perfect 10 gimmick, but the smark NXT crowd saw the chance for another meme chant and they of course had to take the opportunity
>>
>>3104945
>a crowd liking who they like

The fucking AUDACITY of it all!
>>
>>3104948
U know what the fuck he meant retard
>>
Why does WWE feel the need to repeat a match two weeks in a row if they have people who haven't been on tv in months?
>>
>>3102564
BASED
>>
>>3102521
True. They should accept that their developmental territories are detrimental and just sign established talent directly to the main roster

Is there a single indie fag that got better by going through NXT? Balor is a worse and more constrained talker than he was in the indies and he's also only allowed to use 1/4 of the moves he did back then. And don't even get me started on Nakamura and Samoji
>>
>>3102539
Filler for house shows, really. Did you know Rowan and Harper have been solid staples of most SDL house shows despite not being seen on TV in 5 months?
>>
>>3104974
samoa joe is better in WWE than he was before he arrived but it's purely because he got to work with talent like Lesnar and Strowman and Reigns

which flies in the face of the thought that developmental will make people better - it won't. working with the best is what makes people better. which is something Punk tried to get across to vince and HHH and they ignored him
>>
>>3104974
Rollins
Neville

>>3104957
Should I break out a late 90s analogy to really trigger (You)?

Do you people see someone do a flip and automatically assume that's all there is about them? That would explain a lot about this board.
>>
>>3105113
>Vince doesn't run WWE

What did he mean by this?
>>
>>3105132
>Vince is the only reason WWE is on decline, but Vince is also the only reason WWE got so big, so Vince wants his own business to fail
What did he mean by this?
>>
>>3105131
But he did become a better, more well-rounded performer while he was the Ace of NXT.

>>3105127
Compelling rebuttal there.
>>
>>3105078
Rollins and Neville aren't better, they're just as good though. Rollins arguably has been worse when you take his main roster career as a whole
>>
>>3105139
>Vince is the only reason WWE got so big

Imagine being enough of a worked mark stooge to believe this.
>>
>>3105131

Only thing I disagree with is doing his best work on the main roster. His NXT run was fucking fantastic.
>>
>>3105142
>take his main roster career

We're discussing people going through NXT
>>
>>3105143
You implied that because Vince runs WWE he's the only reason WWE is on decline, so by that logic, Vince was the only reason got so successful because he ran the company
>>
>>3105153
>Vince was the only reason got so successful
Vince was the only reason WWE got so successful *
>>
>>3105149
And where do they go when they go through NXT you fucking idiot
>>
>>3105071
Good point made here. I wasn't really a fan of his NXT run (like most other indie guys, he felt neutered by the WWE style) but his matches with Lesnar and Reigns have been great, even if he's still more often than not just thrown in to tag matches in house shows. I don't think he became better by going through NXT, he's just working with what he's allowed to work with.

That's more a problem with the WWE style than Joe himself, though.
>>
>>3105153
It can take an entire team for success to happen, but it only needs one undisputed leader to fuck everything up.

>>3105161
>being this angry because you can't read
>>
>>3105189
>>3105189
>being this angry because you can't read
What did you mean, then?
>>
>>3102521
It's Hunter's signing practices and wanting to keep NXT fresh so they can keep up the narrative that NXT is just better, when NXT is the same as WWE just with an indie roster.

They have to keep turning over the NXT roster and sending the top guys to the main roster, so pretty soon there's going to be no worthwile indy guys to sign and the main roster will have 50 or more people who never work TV matches because the roster is too bloated.
>>
>>3105191
I'm not even the guy who originally posed the question.
>>
>>3105197
>when NXT is the same as WWE just with an indie roster.

It's not, though. Even during its recent down periods NXT is still far better than RAM
>>
>>3105230
Personally, I'd say it's more of a transition from the indies to WWE. That's basically why it's generally better than your average episode of Raw (that, and the fact that 3 hours is way WAY too long for a weekly wrestling show). Make no mistake though, it's still a watered down and casualised version of indie wrestling. They're just preparing all the indie guys they hire to be moved up to the main roster where there's even less creativity, things are even more restricted and there's much less for them to do despite the fact that they have so much time for them to do it.
>>
>>3105243
Wanna know how I can tell you don't watch any indies?
>>
>>3103096
I don't watch Raw or Smackdown faggot
>>
>>3105215
>Jumping in to conversations
>Didn't even prove me wrong
Idiot.
>>
>>3105287
I would honestly be interest to hear it yeah. Especially given the fact that I actually go to one in the flesh every single month. Maybe your confusion here is that I haven't watched WWE or NXT in ages, which is actually true. I seriously doubt it's any less of a watered down indie style that they doing in the ring though.

the WWE honestly needs hulk hogan to come back and bury the whole roster and gain all the titles. and marry linda and stephanie to solidify his place as the company heir and to cuck vince as well.

they should reform nwo, DX, ministry of darkness and the four horsemen. every singles competitor is to be placed in a stable, as WWE will now be composed of only stables (factional fighting).

hulk hogan and ric flair are to be the heads of creative. everyone under 6'2 is to be beaten severely in the locker room and then fired. chairshots will not only be reinstated but mandatory for every match, as well as thumbtacks, fire, coffins, and broken glass. backstage segments will be borderline hardcore pornography videos lasting 1+ hours. to appeal to the youth, guest musicians will no longer be rock hasbeens, but rappers. this will trigger the true golden age of WWE and bring more viewership to fill in those empty seats.
>>
>>3105355
The question he posed, you illiterate schmuck, was "[who] got better by going through NXT"?

>jumping into conversations

(You) certainly are, dimwit.

>>

Stating they are as good, arguably worse, than they were by going through NXT.

You literally need to develop reading comprehension. Don't fucking reply to me again.
>>
>>3105372
and lest we forget, characters like "big dick johnson" and "hornswoggle" and "billy gunn" are to be top guy main eventers. There is to be a blood quota to be filled in every match.
