On NJPW/ROH side, it's apparent that nobody in NJPW office is leaking anything, any info he got he got wrong. He asked someone in ROH office what are those shows in US after they announced them and they told him it's part of G1, which was false.
Other thing relatively recently was Kenny's US title defense in Chicago, which never was planned, but ROH office assumed it will be. So they announced Kenny will defend his title there even before Kenny got beat by anyone in G1.
So the only info he gets from NJPW is that which anyone can get by reading press releases and by talking to YB or to Kenny (who played him like a fiddle in January, he was never leaving).

Jericho was never a Indy guy, he worked worldwide then WCW then WWF. Calling him Vanilla is fucking stupid, and what chip would he have considering he has had a huge push almost all of his career despite being short and always had liberty with his character. He beat Rock and Austin on the same night ffs, and held a million titles.

Also, nobody pays Meltzer for shit I am betting, thy just have to give him a scoop and are on his good side for life, like Rock. Also he only got his recent popularity after rating the match six stars and internet dwellers not shutting up about it, so it goes both ways, and NJPW got its current popularity from Okada Tanahashi and Okada AJ, as well as Bullet Club and being a much improved product with lotsof skilled and dare I say it, entertaining guys.
