Rasslin' where every single person on the roster has to hit their """"""finisher"""""" 5 times unless it's on a young lion to actually win a match, and there are 50 near falls in every match which aren't believable at all, is in fact much better. Those are actually my 2 main gripes about it as someone who started watching recently, the list for WWE would be much longer. Finally finished watching the G1, it's the most wrestling I've watched in many years. Most shows, if not every show, entertained me more than anything WWE has done in a very long time.
