All I hear is smarks saying that Owens is the best in the ring and all his matches are amazing. Every time I see him in a match, it's 80% rest holds. The only move he does is a powerbomb. How do people unironically like Kevin?

He just looks like a fan. It's so retarded that they try to put him over as this badass prize fighter, it doesn't fit him at all. His character should be a blue collar scrapper who goes above and beyond to make up for his shortcomings and match up with the more traditional athletes.

You really can't judge an indie wrestler on the quality of their WWE work. Especially when they were moved up to the main roster so quickly like KO was. They're basically told not to do anything too entertaining for fear of them injuring someone, getting themselves over when they're not supposed to or simply for overshadowing shitters like Roman and putting them to shame. WWE's style of wrestling is so incredibly strict and hostile to any kind of creativity that it's very hard for even great wrestlers to put on regular good matches even when they're trying (such as Cesaro or Neville). Unfortunately, Kev ain't trying anymore. He knows he can fall back on his ability to shit talk and generally fuck with the crowd instead of actually doing shit in the ring. And he knows that his employers would actively prefer him to be boring so he hardly tries most of the time. He's not the only one either.
