Very few legitimate larger-than-life stars are in the business right now and the ones that are there are close to leaving

The rise of the internet and Punk's pipebomb created a new generation of entitled fans that actively despise the product and turn people off from watching

WWE has no competition and is trying to monopolize the wrestling industry which isn't helping anybody because the indies are boring and WWE has way too much on their plate
