Just look around everywhere else on tv, politics and Trump specfically are big dimes. The country is basically fighting a physically peaceful civil war right now. Wrestling fans are among some of the least politically involved groups of people in America and it would still skyrocket ratings. Casuals would make any of his segments easily the highest rated segments in quite some time.

Like you said though, you have a fine line to dance doing so though. Even the most minor slip up on the wrong news cycle could backfire.
