Was he popular? I don't get why people call him super underrated.

You are an idiot. Bam Bam was a pretty popular wrestler in the 90s. Most kids familiar with wrestling would know who he was and he had his fair share of kids who picked him as a favorite. I knew a couple in school.
In the ring he was alright by today's standards, very agile for his time.
Who was better? Bam Bam or Vader?

bam bam even appeared in that snes wwf vidya. he was popular

Bam Bam easily if we are going by ring skills. But Vader had more of an over the top presence so I would have to go with him as overall better.
I'd say he's popular in the sense that a majority of people that lived in the time would know him but you would have to mention his name or show them a picture to think of him. Which I guess makes him underrated.
I remember he threw Spike Dudley like 5 rows into the crowd.

>so mad he lost the ability to communicate in English
He was a super-heavyweight with the agility of a cruiserweight

Vader, it's not even close, but Bam Bam was fucking awesome.
he was awesome in his wwf run, and even his ecw run, but his wcw run was just embarrassing - he ballooned up big time and was jobbing to brian knobbs in "hardcore" matches
