chad's got charisma and everyone likes cheering a guy who seems to be getting the short end of the stick. them cheering is in a way their way of trying to get him over with the people behind the scenes to manipulate the storylines in chad's favour, and at the end of the day they can pat themselves on the back and go back to not giving a fuck about him when he gets to the climax of his push.

Jordan is in a ridiculously bad angle and his character is in a really stupid place and isn't allowed to have any fun.

Also, Gable was more talented and charismatic to begin with. Those matches with Rusev showed people he can go and he's had a couple fun promos here and there too. Putting him with a vet that people like is gonna get him over big, too.
