Worked
How would you even watch it as someone living in America who doesn't get POP.
I MAY BE A CRACKER

Yes Mr. Jimbo, but only if it's on an actual tv channel and not some literal who network.
How long before he leaves and starts shitting on GFW on his podcast?
Wait, I thought he hated Russo. He went back?

Russo hasn't worked for TNA since 2014.
>bringing back Jim Cornette in 2017
Is there any American wrestling promotion that can create new stars and doesn't rely on nostalgia pops? Once the baby boomers are gone, the entire industry collapses.

Cornette will help get some new guys over, he isn't a mark for himself the way other older guys are since he was never a wrestler
Cornette will do good for the company imo. He promoted the first TNA houseshow and they drew 3,000...which is WWE's average these days.

GFW ran their first house-show in two years the other week and it barely drew 500 people.
This isn't 2007. There's no Kurt Angle, AJ Styles or Christian Cage to save this company. They can't rely on ex-WWE stars anymore because they're choosing to go to NJPW/ROH instead. Their weekly TV show averages 300k viewers and has shown no signs of improving.
Bringing back Cornette is just another attempt to bring back the glory days. Living in the past instead of the present.

That's not a TERRIBLE number, to be fair. Sad considering where they used to be at one point, but as long as they all paid to go to the show, it's okay.
