Four 6-star matches so far as of August 14th, 2017, all involving Kenny Omega. At this point, he has to go down as one of the greatest to ever lace up a pair, right? I mean, he has to be a shoe-in for Wrestler of the year, as well as most-improved, the only guy who comes close has to be Okada or Naito. We all knew these guys were good but Jesus fucking Christ, they're UNBELIEVABLE.

I would have said Okada was having a better 2017 but Omega's match with Naito was some real shit and might push him ahead.
I think Okada's consistent performances have still been a little better through the G1, though. It's close as fuck, and with Omega vs Elgin for the US Title and Okada vs EVIL for the IWGP to look forward to it could go either way.
