Unless they get fucked over in the TV deal, WWE won't see anything but profits for the forseeable future. Their business model is successful, like it or not.

Basically this. It's dying a slow and painful death so you'd have to wait another 10 or 20 years to really see a difference. By the time it finally does start fizzling out, the wrestling scene will look a bit like it did before before Vince destroyed the territories. You'll have a bunch of indies and smaller promotions all over the world ready to attract and keep hold of the fans that WWE have scared off. It's already happening as we speak, it's just that a lot of the fans of the smaller promotions still watch WWE. Give it time though and even the biggest marks will get sick of it and go find their wrestling fix elsewhere.

This is, of course, unless they actually change for the better and put some real effort into the entertainment they're putting out there. Even when Vince dies, I doubt they'll do that. The toxic culture has already pervaded the entire company. Big Daddy Trips is not going to be much of an improvement.

but i'm also predicting they'll go back to smaller arenas and convention centers to cut costs of renting huge arenas. they'll sell out regularly but the crowd will be in the 3-5,000 range instead of 7-12,000
