The new nWo is basically The Kliq taking their revenge on Vince for the Curtain Call incident and Bischoff for just generally being a dick
>next sub arc is The WCW's Champion. The Rock tries to reclaim the WWE from Kevin Nash. Nash agrees to the challenge, on the condition that if The Rock loses, WCW owns his contract and his ass. Match goes on. The Rock loses. Bischoff dubs him The WCW's Champion
>WWE just takes hit after hit. The mini storylines are there to draw shit out as they work out a contract deal for guys like Goldberg and Sting and slowly introduce them into the story

>Jericho puts up the WCW title on the line against anyone. Surprise, it's Goldberg. Bischoff is surprised as fuck, but ecstatic to see Goldberg make his return. Bischoff gloats about how the greatest wrestler of all time has returned and you can see him every Thursday night exclusive on WCW SmackDown. Gioldberg spears Bischoff and reveals he's actually signed with Vince. The first big break the WWE has gotten since the storyline started.
>Undisputed title arc begins. WWE's Goldberg puts his WCW title on the line against WCW's The Rock who also puts his WWE title on the line. One company will have the Undisputed World Champion, the other is left with nothing. Goldberg wins in the end.
>shortly after, the third party nWo and their leader Triple H challenges and wins the Undisputed title, leaving both companies without a world title again and re-establishing the nWo's relevancy.
>Hogan makes a power play to take the leadership position and the Undisputed title from Triple H. Hogan gets into Nash and Hall's ears reminding them of their history together. Triple H has title defense against Jericho. Hogan accidentally costs Triple H the title. Triple H pedigrees Hogan. Nash and Hall come to Hogan's defense. X-Pac and Shawn Michaels stands behind Triple H. Triple H does the suck it to Hogan, Nash and Hall with the implication of a DX reunion. This begins the DX vs nWo arc.
>DX are quietly absorbed back into the WWE. Road Dogg and Billy Gunn joins them. They still terrorize both shows, but now they're played off as WWE guys again. Hogan makes a deal with Bischoff to make nWo his personal army, providing he gives 50% control of WCW to Hogan. A desperate Bischoff agrees.
>end of the whole storyline is a winner takes all PPV, WWE WrestleMania X WCW Starrcade. Winner of the most cross promotion matches wins.

>The Rock, after being Bischoff's bitch for months tells him that he's not The WCW's Champion. He's The People's Champion. The Rock gives Bischoff a Rock Bottom. Everyone is confused as fuck. The Rock tells the broadcast truck to roll the footage. Footage from past episodes of SmackDown of Vince coming down to have a heart to heart talk with The Rock. Vince talks about having a gift for The Rock. Next scene is Bischoff handing The Rock his new WCW contract and casually tells him to sign it. Vince comes out in the middle of the ring begging The Rock not to renew his contract with WCW. Bischoff comes out and screams at him to just sign it. Vince tries to hug The Rock, The Rock hits him with a Rock Bottom and signs the contract, breaking the hearts of the WWE locker room and fans. Last footage is unaired footage of The Rock sitting in his locker room looking over the contract. The contract he signed has a WWE logo on it, the gift Vince gave him earlier. Technically it was two WWE starts fighting in the main event, meaning the WWE was going to win all along. Vince and the WWE locker room rush the ring. Vince and The Rock hug as the WWE guys carry both of them on their shoulders.
