CFO can be pretty lazy if they want to be which is fructrating because you hear something like the Maria/Mike theme and think it might be great, and then you realize they just looped the fucking thing for 3 minutes.

I cant speak for all of them bbut a lot of NJPWs themes are just loops too, but they sound more video game boss battle- like.

a lot of their stuff feels like they have a good core idea & hook, but phone it in when it comes to developing that into a full theme. there are some njpw themes like that too for sure, but most of them feel a little more 'full', i guess. even something like Okada's that's basically just one riff with some fills has a really strong opening sting that gives it presence.

Aleister Black has a good theme.

Nakamura's Subconcious is 100 times better than that meme WWE entrance song.

Same with every WWE theme now. People can complain about current themes being worse in general but the looping kills most of them, especially for longer entrances. Roode's fucking theme loops about five times by the time he starts a Takeover match. Most of the Attitude Era themes were about 3 minutes long without looping once.

I think a problem with the current state of WWE entrance themes made by CFO$ is that they sometimes half ass make a song with lyrics (Mike and Maria Kanellis and Aleister Black) and just loop it. When you listen to Yokosuke Kitamura's songs most of them have little to no lyrics which makes the looping less noticeable.

The short looping music is fine when it's lower midcarders and you don't hear their music a lot. Main Eventer Seth Rollins should not have a fucking 20 second loop
