They 100 percent are. It's why Cena put Nakamura over tonight and while he'll win the title at Summerslam or sometime soon after. They want to make Nakamura seem on the same level as AJ to the mainstream audiance by the time Wrestlemania roles around so the match has the most impact by then.

Then when Cena is busy with movies they'll have both AJ and Nakamura to carry Smackdown.

Yeah eventually. Chances are it's gonna be Nakamura/Corbin for a while due to Corbin's ability to cash-in, then eventually from RR it'll be Nakamura vs Styles.
