I know that feel bro. It's easy if you skip the tag matches, but then you miss out on based LIJ.
You're not going to be able to watch everything. Just watch what interests you.
I've been going to sleep at 9 to wake up at 3:30 and watch live. Thankfully my job is seasonal and doesn't require me to work during the summer.
I already tapped out, it's a pain to follow and I don't feel like keeping up without english commentary. I'll just come back for the finals

Just stay up and watch every single night live

Summerslam 2002
The G1 has been boring as fuck this year. Really showed how important Shibata was to New Japan.
You can see the transformation of NJPW into WWE Japan right before your eyes this G1.

>boring as fuck
>almost every night has had what would be a MOTY contender any other year
>Ibushi Naito
>Omega Suzuki
>Okada Elgin
>Ishii, Nagata, YOSHIHASHI, SANADA, Ibushi, and Tana all laying down absolutely fanttastic work every night
Shibata would be amazing, but they don't need himp

>no mention of Eebiru
Low key some of the better matches.
I great with the sentiment that last year was better if we compare the first 8 nights. Shibata, Marijufi and Nakajima are missed. The adition of Suzuki is great though. Also, I like Honma better than Nagata, Fale, Tama Tonga, Juice, ZSJ.
Still pretty good so far though.

Day 3 this year has been one of the single best days in wrasslin in a long time, though I definitely agree about Marufuji and Nakajima being missed.
I also didn't mention ZSJ, regardless of your opinions on the guy, and I personally hate the guy, but he's REALLY stepped up his game, and his matches have all actually told stories instead of just being grapplespam with pointless "flashy transitions. Nagata has been nothing short of INCREDIBLE this G1, and Ibushi Nagata is THE fucking match. Hell, Fale's had one of his best G1s already, certainly in match quality, and Juice is as consistent as it gets. Really, the only disappointments so far for me have been Tama and Kojima, not that either of them come off like they don't care, but just don't have any stories to tell or cool things to do, so their matches are all just letting the other guy tell a story.

Still haven't watched any of it. I also have only watched about the first or so hour of RAW and nothing else of WWE either.
I think Battleground just killed wrestling for me.
