I like him a lot more in Japan than everywhere else. He focuses on his grappling and submissions instead of trying to look like a badass all the time and the Japanese crowds respect his submissions. So far he's been a fine G1 guy.

He's good if he's not babyface. And he looks better in Japan, because everyone in the attendance went to judo/martial arts classes when they were kids, so they know he is really good in making mat based wrestling.

No, it's like with Kota. He had that stupid submission from behind and they spend 3 minutes on it until Kota outpowered him and put him in the same maneuver but 5 seconds in, ZSJ just kicks back and gets out of it. So it's pretty stupid for the kick specialist not to think of doing that but the "grappling mater" did because he just knows how to get out of everything.
