Personally, I think at this point the only reason why I dislike the idea of Roman Reigns is because he is destined to be 'better' than Rollins and Ambrose, whereas I think they should be all equal. Forgetting the Shield ever existed, honestly don't really have a problem with him. He has good matches.

Roman is naturally boring even when he's not being scripted as Vince's Mary-Sue.
