>>2883889
What's with the old as shit flag?
>NXT grew a cult smark following under his championship reign
>He is currently the only thing preventing 205 Live being cancelled and is carrying the CW division on his back
NevGOAT draws some dimes
>>2883935
This. He drew a WrestleMania size crowd to SummerSlam, whom else can say this.
>>2883950
Not to mention NXT also grew it's huge following during William Regal's leadership.
Davey Boy Bulldog
Paige
Regal
Jimmy Ocean
Magnus
Every British wrestler's (except Neville) gimmick is that they're British.
Bad News Barry - they literally killed his push because he was getting too many cheers

Bret Hart.
>>2883950
I feel he is the perfect representative of that entire inbred snaggletoothed island nation. He looks like a mutant.

Him being British couldn't have fallen to the waistside any harder.

Serious answer is that the Crabtrees put Big Daddy at the top for years due to nepotism despite him being a middling draw. A glass ceiling was created and no one else was experimented with on top, so on true draws could arise. Eventually ITV dropped wrestling and the scene died.
In effect, the Big Daddy effect did to potential British drawing cards what the Roman Reigns effect is doing to potential WWE draws.
Paige (Yes. especially you americans couldnt get enough of her), Davey Boy, Dynamite Kid, Bad News Barrett (Until he was told to stop being too popular with his promos), Pete Dunne (again, you guys creamed over him), Bate (See Dunne, ridiculously over)
Is he a draw?
>>2883889
Meme all you want, that Dunn cat is Fucking REAL
big daddy was a legitimate draw. So much so that when he left nobody watched anymore
>>2883889
>what was Summerslam 1992
>>2883889
Obviously it never produced a wrestler who could draw dimes. Wrestling didn't even exist in the Kingdom of Great Britain at that time. The United Kingdom on the other hand is a lot more different.
>>2883889
Sheamus is a draw internationally desu
>>2885693

>Ireland
>Part of the UK
Kys,
>>2883889
Saddled with the "I'm British" gimmick. Honestly, which English wrestler has ever transcended the simple fact of his homeland and became a bigger, greater character?

Billy Robinson (September 18, 1938 – March 3, 2014)[3] was a British professional wrestler, author and catch wrestling instructor. Robinson was well known in Japan where he trained mixed martial arts fighters in catch wrestling. Robinson was one of the few wrestlers who was successful in several continents (Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania), winning titles in promotions nearly everywhere he wrestled.

British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith was pretty decent draw. He did well in USA (main evented here and there for WWF & WCW & was fixture in midcard for over decade), was over in Canada due to his Stampede days & relationship with Harts, was over in Japan, and in the UK knowing from experience he was apart of pop culture - everyone knew of or had heard of British Bulldog and he appeared on countless TV shows, newspapers etc.

Besides his match with Bret at Wimbley, his match with Shawn for the European title was a classic. Very emotional match with his wife at ringside.
Ignoring America, Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy drew many dimes in England. Any person over 50 will always mention them whenever they see something related to wrestling every single time.
>>2883950
He looks like the product of 10 generations of inbreeding. Also nxt isn't a draw so you're straight up wrong.
>>2886053
So if they are not a draw, why are they outperforming any indie in attendance, isn't that definition what a draw is?
