In Stardom alone there are 3 women better (if you count Io still) then either Kairi or Asuka. Kairi herself is better in the ring then Asuka and has almost the same character work as her. Maybe Asuka/Kana is better because she had more variable gimmicks, Kairi just had her little short match with Pentagon where she was trying to be cool biker-ninja chick.

In Sendai, there are 3 more better wrestlers. And in other joshis I could coutn at least 7 better that I can think of right now. And I am not counting legends. Toyota, Kong are level above anyone younger.

It is when you don't focus solely on match quality and movez. In that regard obviously she can't match the best of Joshi. They do get more freedom and higher quality opponents, plus right now she's coasting on the bare minimum for the most part. As a character and all round performer though, Asuka is at the very top. I can't think of any woman who is a better complete package. Some are maybe just as good, but none better.

Asuka has still managed to have really good matches in NXT regardless. Emma, Mickie, Ember, Nikki. It's not like she's churning out stinkers here. I'm hyped to see the matches Io and Kairi will have with her, then we'll see the real GOAT tier stuff
