WWE is trying to expand the network into international markets because subscriptions in English speaking countries have plateaued and they're nowhere at the desired amount. So they're building international stars to appeal to them, they'll do the same with Nakameme this year. That's why in NXT they're going all around the world and hiring people from China or wherever to crack into potentially big markets.

The problem is with this type of diverse demographic pandering is that you'll alienate the core subscribers from their favourites because there can only be so many wrestlers featured on the show when you prioritise your international markets.
