Asuka hated how the joshi business was being run (big emphasis on looks etc) and wanted to fix it so wrote a bit article. Literally everybody hated her for it and even her tag team partner Nanae Takahashi slapped Asuka and they fell out.

Anyway Nanae was one of the founders of Stardom so Asuka obviously never worked for Stardom and hates them. Io quit the Triple Tails stable (Asuka/Mio Shirai/Io Shirai) and started working for Stardom so Asuka didn't talk to Io for years.

Kairi is a homemade Stardom girl (they literally picked her from nowhere for her looks and trained her) so Asuka would barely even know her and she is everything Asuka didn't like about joshi.

This was before the manifesto and Nanae slapped her shit because she was super stiff, obliterating orbital bones and KOing people unintentionally and she wouldn't stop or calm it down. So Nanae embarrassed her publicly and then Kana was gone from their PASSION RED group.
