Lucha Underground dropped the ball so hard with him. He became the Stone Cold of Lucha Underground and could do no wrong and was the #1 top guy for those fans. They fucked him at Ultima Lucha 2, he should have won the World Title there after crushing the rest of the roster throughout Season 2.

Lucha Underground pulled Pentagon off their TV because he was getting too over and screwing up their plans. He was pulled from TV for a good portion of S2 and S3 so they could focus on the plans they wanted to do.
They are no better than WWE. Pentagon broke out as a natural star and the fans wanted him to be THE guy but the bookers refused to give it to them.
For a company that loved to take shots at WWE for not giving fans what they want, they sure as shit are no better than them in that regard.
