I'm rooting for Hakuho.

He's 10 wins away from Kaio's all time record.
From the form he's in, it looks like he's got a very good chance to actually beat it.
We're witnessing history. The greatest ever wrestler lived in our time.

I'm sad for Kotoshogiku. He's been going downhill for a while now and I hope he wins some more.

first time lurker/poster here. dunno why sumo isn't as popular as other competitive sports are. i've only just started watching since the last tournament but i find it to be incredibly rad.

Takayasu is perhaps the most well-rounded rikishi in the tournament. great prospects and equally great sumo. that said, he isn't nearly as good as harumafugi who despite having lost 2/3 bouts is still the king of sumo.
