The "college degree for everything" meme is showing a lot of signs of coming to an end, thankfully. There are a very small number of fields where you can expect a return greater than your investment, which is a sentiment that employers are starting to have with college graduates, too. In Velvet Sky's case, she probably has more practical information about fitness in her head right now than anyone who's just gone through a course curriculum.

People are currently trying to say that men are falling behind, but I actually don't think that this is true. Rather, men are realizing that the road map that was handed to them doesn't actually portray the road.

Firstly, we're not talking about nursing homes. Second, you realize that there are forms of formal accreditation that aren't a four year degree, right? They're called "trade schools". You go in, you learn everything that you need to know about the trade (and literally nothing else), and you get out. They're faster, cheaper, and tend to produce higher quality employees.
