Face it E Drones, this F tier soap opera shit WWE shits out is a dying trend. WWE wants the casuals to stay but they're instead pulling in geriatric old fucks as their audience.
Workrate is the future of this business and this is why New Japan shits on the WWE. Newer fans appreciate workrate more than boring scripted promos
desu always found promos to be useless, like If I wanna watch / hear people talk and I can watch the news, but when I watch Wrestling I obviously wanna see what's going on in the ring.
Well I guess you can say that cause the size of the adult male fanbase is at an all time low according to le Meltz.

more excited about the okada kenny feud even though they have barely been on the mic agaisnt eachother
E has 15 min long promos at the start of raw to build their stories and i dont give a shit about their stories
but still watch the E. usually as backround sound while i work out (home gym) and i sit and get comfy to watch NJPW.
>the E
cringe
I personally don't care about actual match quality any longer. And I'm a guy who used to be all about good matches, and 'work-rate'. I'm not actually a fan of wrestling anymore, I just watch WWE ironically at this point, and raw on Monday is like a habitual thing for me.
>I got into wrestling for the workrate
>>2839040
>watching it for literally anything else
Do you also watch pornos for their plot?
Reminder that WWE PPV's are almost all in ring work with maaayybe 1 promo and a backstage segment.

Boy I sure love 10 minutes of some bland fucker saying the same shit as everyone else with corporate buzzwords peppered throughout

Actually, yes.

What did OP mean by this? Does he not know without stories behind a match, the match holds no meaning? You dWeebs need to get a clue.

I'm 22, have a BMW, 8.5 in looks and 6'3". Her husband is a known cuck, what are my chances of fucking her and fulfilling my purpose in life?
Work rate is superior. If a company favors promo work then they should cease being a "wrestling" company and remove any semblance from their name. If we want to watch a drama we watch a television show or film not a faggy variety show.

It'd help if WWE stopped scripting every fucking word and actually allowed to get talented guys get over on their own strength. Match quality in NJPW is much better, but that's also due to a lot less saftey/health regulations etc. They're allowed to do a lot more. WWE has the talent, but the booking is just cringe. Not having serious competition makes Vince lazy.
>>2839358
>Not having serious competition makes Vince lazy
Being a Billionaire makes Vince lazy, WWE is a toy to Vince now, not a passion. He's only still doing it because if he stops he'd just be counting down his days to die in boredom.
>>2839377
This is probably true. And sad.
>>2839329
And if I want to watch fighting I'll watch real fighting not pretend fighting.

WWE is losing it's core fanbase, which is 30 year old males who grew up during the Attitude Era but somehow got back into wrestling later in life. If you cater WWE towards kids (which is what they're doing now), it's no longer "cool" and the kids will never get back into wrestling when they get older. Once WWE loses that Attitude Era fanbase, they won't have any fans left. The older crowd is starting to realize there are more entertaining options out there, and WWE is seriously in trouble of they don't make some major changes soon (which they won't).

Non existent even if you weren't lying
>>2839216
Gotta get into the story.
Compelling stories and characters is what draws the masses. But since WWE hasnt been able to do that since the Attitude Era, it's fucked. I dont care about coreographed acrobatics, without reason to care it's just meaningless fake fighting. Just lol at
>Le workrate
Nobody cares except the hardcore rasslin' fans, which quite frankly is large part of todays audience left.

How do you fit the entire WWE company in your mind to let it live there rent free? Is that literally all you think about whilst watching Japanese wrestling? That it isn't WWE? How is that enjoyable?
