Every video starts with a clip contributed by someone who works in the business, giving them exposure. Most videos also give attention to other wrestling media. For all Botchamania "exposes" wrestling by bringing attention to some awful segments/botches, it also gives something back by helping younger wrestlers reach out.

Besides this is only watched (and made by a) smarks, whereas the MSG curtain call took place in front of thousands of marks and was recorded by two fans that snuck in a camcorder, so plenty other people saw it.
